Did anyone see this video from Dacob:

Very interesting, and to me he is alluding that the store being mentioned in an Hermes store (but not confirmed). Thoughts?

Oh sweet summer child (him, not you). Every company is doing that to the extent that they can, from WalMart to Hermes.

Many companies that do that have strict rules about specific employees looking up personally identifying information (PII) (like addresses or job titles) but I'd imagine that luxury companies are new enough to the game that they don't have strong audit systems yet. In an advanced system, a computer would be using some subset of that PII (after requesting permission) to create a profile of each customer that would advise the salesperson as to recommendations, invites, etc., without exposing the PII itself.

However, my opinion of H tech sophistication is not particularly high - despite my living in Europe my entire purchase history and repeatedly giving them my address for in-store and online purchases, they have my address as an online bill-paying firm in South Dakota that I haven't used in 10 years but for a while was associated with one of my credit cards. I... do not expect them either to be doing intelligent automated analysis or enforcing a harsh audit policy on accessing PII.

Still not quite on topic, how do you identify a Zimmerman dress? Image search gives me a bunch of dresses that don't look much like each other, except perhaps a tendency to ruffles.

And on-topic, are there any H influencers focusing on SLGs, scarves, and/or non-BKC bags? Those are more my interests than the BKC bags.

Cerulean Blonde for scarf content.

Zimmerman dresses are on the way out if they aren't out already

Imo there will always been a subset of women in any trend who can pull off things “out”, whether it be zimmermann dresses or mini bags or more recently big bags when Minis were in. Most of these new wave influencers look like they are cosplaying the young jet set girls of the 2000s, but I’m just glad they’ve moved on from those cheap polyester fast fashion dresses paired with Birkins in the name of “high low”. Sooner or later everything we discuss on this site - specifically Hermes- will be “out” if it isn’t already because of how overdone it has become on social media. But luckily, I don’t mind.. I suppose it just depends who we believe dictates fashion trends etc.

Omg, saw it! Wondering how many real housewives are not so…real?

Marisol (spelling?) from Housewives of Miami was on the Birkin Slayer last week or the week before.
I believe it was Lea from Miami who said many of the housewives are faking a lot of things about their wealth. I’m not surprised… I noticed fake birkin slayer posts a loooot of palm beach ladies from those fashion influencer pages with fake birkins as well!

And they are all so cringe!

I have seen women try to hide the bag behind their backs when the palm beach blogger approaches them with the dreaded “what are you wearrinngggg” question. I have seen them turn the bag so the back is facing the camera and a few, in a proud voice “carrying my Burken”. Uh huh. Okayyyyyy
