On the side of the box, the brown "Coach" tape looks like it's covering a white label that might have style info on it. I wonder if the brown tape lifts up.

Good point - I hadn't noticed the bit of white peeking out. But weren't boxes typically marked with style info on the end, not on the side?

I found a couple of examples in my files. (These are from my own items.) Label on side:

ETA: I can't find an example of the type of box you've shown but IIRC, those labels were on the side too.

I'd guess it's from around 2001, as it's similar in style and style number to this one.

Exactly! In this instance I guess they meant "Coach" as their embossed signature.

It's a mini skinny but Coach has made literally dozens of leather mini skinnies, both for boutiques and outlet, many with the same embossed logo.
