I want a Sofia bag

just got my black sofia 41cm (from the online Ferragamo shop - 1190 EUR- for Ric). Although all seems in order the bag stinks of glue or tanner. Never happened with any other bags. Any suggestions?

There are a bunch of threads in the Handbags & Purses forum on how to alleviate smells in a bag. Maybe do a search to see if you can find some tips?

I wrote to them to complain ... let's see what they say ... I asked for a replacement. If I'd bought it anywhere else I might have suspected a fake but everything else about the bag is spot on. Besides, I cannot really contest the source !!!

good news, I left the bag to ... air .. during the Easter break and the smell is almost gone. Ferragamo online also offered me a full refund (but I like the bag too much).

I just found this new hobo style on Nordstrom.com. This style looks to me like a Soft Sofia mixes with Sofia with a few twists.

Re: Fanisa I also saw and liked this bag on the Nordstrom site. My only question is whether it will be hard to carry with only one, rather thin, strap. My bags are fairly, but not extremely heavy, but I wonder about the Fanisa.

I love my brown sofia.

Just want to share.....my mom in law doesn't know anything about Ferragamo and when she saw me carrying my bag she said it looks like a Hermes. I was speechless!
