i'd put oil on the other handle and let it sit for a few days then place the bag infront of a window for a few more. With luck the sun will dry up the remaining oil and start tanning it.
If that doesnt work you might have to replace the handles.

I am coming clean, I have an eating problem.
I joined to get my mind off of food and never once thought I would be challenged with things that had to do with food such as olive oil that should stay in the kitchen.

gosh, there really are no safe places for me to go.

maybe if I go to the food network website they will be talking about purses? No?!
