Seems rose dragee has it (swift) in addition to white....here are mine. Now I'm confused - is it only these 2 colours in non-exotic?

the thing is i told her i thought that all exotics came with colored locks and she said i know but i had ordered it like this..so i dont think she just replaced hers with another bag..

I know a few people who do not like the matching covered locks. These friends like the contrast of the metal, so prefer the standard locks. Just another thought.

For rose dragee and parchmein non exotic birkins and kellys, some come with covered locks, some don't.

My Parchemin Swift has a matching lock too. It would appear for regular leather it's found in White, Rose Dragee and Parchemin (the latter 2 only in Swift leather). ETA : I was about to say, some have mentioned theirs came with uncovered lock.

That's true. I have seen white bags with the covered locks and without. It DOES seem random, Fleurs.

I love that when covered, they still have the "H" imprint on them! SO Hermes!

I think new bags all HAVE covered locks, old ones don't.
