I don't know why people say things like they can't afford LV so they buy Coach

My feelings about such statements are mixed. For one I wanted a LV when I was younger but when I went to the LV store I was told they were not entirely made of leather, the salesgirl described it as "PVC material" and I was just completely turned off. I am a lover of all things leather.

The other point I need to make is that I do not feel like I can afford LV either. If I get the bag I am going to get the wallet and if I get the wallet I am going to get a bag charm and after a while its like "I don't know why she swallowed the fly!" if you know what I mean. I just don't love it enough to invest that much money into such a collection. None of their bags are worth me saving for and I don't do pre-owned anything other than furniture.

At the end of the day I buy Coach because I love it and their customer service is world class.

They aren't all PVC. They do make leather ones (mine shown above called vernis leather, but it just means their own kind of patent leather). They also have epi leather, which I think is like saffiano leather, and other types of leather (I'm not an LV expert).
If you haven't tried before, you may be surprised how easily pre- loved bags can be thoroughly cleaned. I cleaned mine with tips from the Coach rehab & rescue thread, and LV has their own rehab threads. But pre- loved is definitely a personal decision. :smile1:
