UPDATE
I got my shortening link from AMAZON for 2 Euro (!!!!!). It said tit would take up to 4 weeks to deliver but I got it within 14 days. Its super smooth, shiny, sturdy and works like a charm. It took a but of fiddling around with it to see how much I wanted to shorten / Which links to attach it to but it does no harm whatsoever to the chain or bag from what I can tell.

Defo wort the 2 Euro and the bit of delivery wait, defo NOT worth 200 Euro Heres some pics for you to see how it is opened attached and used

I’ve been using mine for a while and so far the bag clip is holding up so well. I’m not too sure how the other ladies got her bag poke through using the clips....I can only imagine perhaps she overpacked the bags??

Anyhow I am so happy to be able to wear my mini at a shorter lengths here is a picture reference...

I’m 5’4 & she sit really nicely crossbody or on the shoulder

I posted this in another thread but posting here too in case you ladies want another idea. These knotted ribbon hair ties can be unknotted, then threaded through the chain link, and re-tied at your desired length. It’s soft and won’t scratch your links. It doesn’t come undone by accident because of the material.

To shorten my straps, I just use the black and white Chanel ribbon.

I cut it in half so it's not as wide; double it up and thread through the chain straps; then tie a double bow inside the bag.

My SA originally gave me a lobster clasp, but I was afraid it was going to scratch the chain... sturdy ribbon works fine!

Hi! I would use a thin ribbon ( go through one of the chain links) to tie part of the left side chain to the right ring behind the bag. And then tie part of the right side chain to the left ring.

I have an eye on the Chanel 19 WOC in Pink !!
However, when I tried it on, the chain is tooooooo long for me.
I know that the Classic WOC's chain can be shortened in different ways.
How about Chanel 19's?
The structure is a bit different from the Classic one with the chain not going through the interior.
Any ideas Ladies?

I would just tie the end of the chain in a knot. I’ll show a pic shortly.
