How/where do you report website/shops/sellers of fakes/counterfeits?

Hi and welcome, advertising your sales, soliciting or own ebay auctions are not allowed on the Purse Forum, sorry. It makes things easier here too I think. You could look up the rules, and see threads at the top of every page.

Also just to note a lot of designers have numbers and addresses where you can report counterfeits of their brand directly.

hi!!
I was out shopping today and stopped to look at a consignment store. It turned out to be closed.

I went to the one next store. They were selling fake Chanel, LVs, Hermes and maybe Coach ( i didn't really look at them).

I asked the guy behind the counter if he knew that selling fakes was illegal. He said that in this case he can because 1) they're used bags and 2) he is not pretending that they are real.

In any case, correct me if I am wrong, its still illegal to be selling fakes.

How can I report this shop?

a good start would be the Better Business Bureau... probably Chane & LV

have hot lines for "fakes".... or just call the corporate offices and see what they suggest

Thank you! I called the number and gave them all the information I had. The woman on the phone was very nice They are supposed to call me back if they have any more questions.
