I am part of a facebook group that scans EBAY daily and reports fakes and then goes back to make sure they are removed, we have zero tolerence for fakes and do not want anyone to profit from them. We are a group of over 70 that do this and have had at least a hundred fake Louis Vuittons removed from EBAY and even reported some after they have been sold and just recently saved a woman over $1000.00 as she bought a fake and didn't know it, we reported it and she was able to get the auction ended

I just visited their mobile site to see what they had and came across the LV Damier Ebene Speedy 30. Upon looking at their pics, I saw one that showed the side leather tab and it read "Made in USA?!"
Does that sound right to anyone??

There's website exquisitehandbags.net copied photos and listings from ebay and other websites. Although the photos are real handbags, but the listings are fake on this website because they don't have the actual handbags. It must be a SCAM. I reported to it's hosting 3dcart but they didn't take any actions. I also reported to godaddy the domain registrar, but no response yet. My listings still on the website. I don't want buyers to be scammed. Please suggestions?

Kudos to you. Thank you for what your group does. It is greatly appreciated!!

There is a way to report trade violations (including selling counterfeit merchandise) to authorities. Through the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, check this link:
https://apps.cbp.gov/eallegations/

or by phone at: 1-800-BE-ALERT
ALL information you provide about yourself is kept confidential or you can also stay anonymous.
Just this past summer there was an uproar in Puerto Rico in regards to one the biggest U.S. federal investigations on copyright infringement and intellectual property laws is concerned. The victim in this case was Pop artist Romero Britto, which became (overnight) a well known, more specifically in the South Florida/ Miami area, handbag "designer" (I use quotes because I find his designs childish, unappealing and just plain dreadful!). However, no one deserves to be robbed in such a vile manner...the man became aware of his substantial monetary loss through Facebook and thanks to all the involved and concerned consumers that decided to report all trade violations, on a daily basis to e-allegations!!! (I must include myself on that one :graucho:) Currently, there is a lawsuit on the Federal Court in PR that includes over 200 shops, wholesalers, the artist is seeking millions in damages, more specifically $150,000.00 PER EACH violations or sale of a "fake" item. So far federal marshalls have recovered more that 40,000 counterfeit items... and counting! so yes, it is possible to fight back!

here's a consignment shop that sells fake designer purses, such as coach and louis. If you click on the pictures on their facebook site, you can see some of the fakes they are selling. I've reported it to facebook, but it hasn't been shut down.

Facebook will not remove the page or group >unless< it is YOUR intellectual property that the person is "stealing". However, you can report it to: https://apps.cbp.gov/eallegations/ That is what I do and trust me, the pages DO get shut down! :woohoo:
