Actually, I just did a calculation and it was cheaper by roughly 15-17%!!! Which is ridiculous! I went into the London store today, and had a VERY NICE talk with the supervisor and she told me that the US is most definitely more expensive. France is the cheapest and London is in between.

You can personally check. I had all three websites opened on my computer and did conversions (Euro to US is about 1 Euro to 1.186 Dollars, and British Pound to Dollar is about 1 Pound to 1.746 dollars). The difference is VERY obvious! I'm SO going to Paris baby!!

What I meant by all three websites is I went to vuitton, then opened up three, one each for US, France, and the UK. The France and UK sites have the prices on there. And I looked at Elux for US.

i would love to work there too, will apply at the bloomingdales one once it opens. I wouldn't work just for the discount though, i'm sure it's an upgrade in retail, and that's wonderful just by itself:love:

there are discussions on this all over the forum, do a quick search.. there are actually a couple of people that work at LV in Neiman Marcus in Fashion Island, and LV in Saks in SCP on the forum too, but they're not allowed to disclose any such information as it's against their company policy.


however, WE are very much allowed to talk about it amongst ourselves, since we're not binded by their policy, since we're not employees! haha.

and senzafine, i heard from diff SA's, that there won't be a Bloomies LV location! OMG! i don't think SCP needs 3 LV retail outlets, but i would LOVE it if they opened one there so I could work there! even part time! haha.

a friend of my friend works in lv. she said she got 70% total discount that she can use partly for a year.
for example if she want to have a speedy and use her 30% disc, she had like 40% left, and she can use it for another bag

Wellllllllll it doesn't work just like that.

We do have limits (thats all I will say, LOL.) :nuts:

If she uses her 30% she will have a limit, and she can use her 30% over and over till its done... but yeah there's no such thing as a left over 40%... (thats for sure.) :p

yea....... as far as i know.. the 70% is really on RTV items. and even that discount is probably even more or up to. i know my friend / SA got a keepall 45 w/straps for a frickin steal of $250. it was missing the strap cuz the strap was overly damaged, but still. omg. OMG OMG OMG. lol. i want that.
