Speedy 30 - $105
Trevi - PM - $247.5
GM - $303
Alma -------$153

My SA was having a long discussion with my BF and I, she is full time and stated that they don't get paid well. She didn't give me numbers....but she said the only thing that keeps her there is the fun she has working there. She loves it. Passion....lol....

That's what I've heard, too; the job is retail, you don't get paid well but you do get benefits (as in, health insurance, etc).

As for bags, yes, there is a discount, but usually the stuff leftover are the things that no one wants...LV employees are the last to get items. With LEs, SAs aren't allowed to purchase them first...customers do, and by the time SAs are allowed to purchase (which isn't very often), usually the hot stuff is gone.

BTW, LV employees are not allowed to resell for profit on ebay; your job may be put in jeopardy if company finds out that you are reselling your bags. At least, that is what I've been told. :shrugs:

ummm actually thats not true.. friend is SA in southern california.. She is full time gets paid $15 dollars per hour.. like 2 yrs ago.. I havent got updated on her salary... She gets health benefits and stuff.

She did get LE bag... but then those stuff you have to wait till 8 month from first selling date. Maybe thats why they cant get all the LEs...

I worked there, thinking it would be a great experience. I got tired of seeing LVs all day. It got so boring and I was losing my love/lust for LV. I quit and I couldn't be happier. I suggest NO ONE ever work for a brand they LoVe.

Wow, I was just thinking about applying at both of the LVs near me and what you wrote made a lot of sense. But I think I'd like to try it anyway. LOL they probably aren't even hiring!

Thanks for doing the math! I was wondering how much $3k would by with that incredible discount. That's ALOT of stuff!

I actually asked for an application at the Louis Vuitton located in the Beverly Center (CA).
- I approached, someone who seemed to be in their 40's/Sales Rep
- Long story short I asked if they were hiring, and if she had an application.. she smirked and said just turn in your resume. So, none of my questions were really answered. So once again, I asked the same questions. and she stated again, just to turn in my resume.
I thanked her , smiled and left.

-(i was dressed cute/in my opinion)- Cream color shorts.. Blue Burberry polo, and sporting' the damier azur naviglio..so i dont think my appearance was a factor in this.

I, like many others here dream of working for LV..
I currently work for Victoria Secret and have only 1 year SalesRep/cashiering there.
-but I have worked as a tutor, several times

I understand, that you need 2 years of :high End Retail: to work there.. but half the SA's I see in there do not look like they've worked in anything higher than Sears/JC penny
(no offense to any of those working or know of people working there)

Plus, they dont know half the names of any of the bags, and I do..

And like everybody else, I think I'm pretty too.. :/

So how would /i go about getting a job like this, any ideas??

^
if your down for a hard work then yeah...
pay is not good.. you have to work 12++ hours for holidays.... no comission....

do you speak different language??? if you do... more chance

your best bet is to try to get into a department store (nordstroms, bloomingdales) and work a year or so there from what i hear they are pretty stricked on the two year high end requirement.
