I no longer ask people to guess my age as I know I look decades younger but for fun I tried the face bot app. I must not reveal my chronological age, mention my daughter is almost 28 or that I am wed to a 64 yo. lol. Why give a stranger a heart attack?

I plan on visiting my daughter near CalTech soon. I wonder if they will think I am a student there? lol.

Yay in sunny California I can finally don a bikini! Here is my figure over 2 years post breast FT with lipo to the flanks, 360 thighs and inner knees. My abs look great from eating more meat, cutting out dairy, and doing stairs at home. Last abdo lipo was 2 decades ago. I seem to have toned up as I have no loose tummy skin! If you want to go down the lipo route, remember traditional lipo only and not Vaser!

@MissOrange , the difference is a Korean doctor specializes in ASIAN face. An Asian woman may not get the same result from a doctor in Turkey as she would with a doctor in Korea. Our bone structures, facial muscles, skin type are all totally different! It's not a "one face fits all" type of surgery. If you are Asian, you need to go to a doctor that specializes in Asian faces.
Hi @BabyQ I would have believed that until I had a fab facelift by Dr Nick Rhodes a UK plastic surgeon. He said my skin was very thin compared to British women but that was the only difference.

I would say if you want Asian eyelids to go to Korea. I had Caucasian bleph for years until I decided I wanted my Korean eyes back and went to Dr Seo. I have seen Asian eyes botched in the UK and US so if you are Asian, choose an Asian surgeon in Asia.

Also go to Korea for facial fat grafting as Korea has far more expertise in this procedure and it is still a learning curve in the UK and US.

As for bone contouring, Korea uses a lot of titanium plate and screws. Dr Oh at Regen saw my chin and said he would have done it differently. As my body reacts to foreign material I dread what would have happened with titanium in my face. In Korea chin shaving involves cutting the chinbone off, trimming it down and plating it back on to create a pointy chin. I much prefer Ion's advanced approach with the Sonopet knife.

What I love about Korea is that plastic surgery consults are free and imaging is part of the consult. Here is my skull compared to b&a images of zygoma reduction in highlights and the b&a of v line surgery. My image and the b&a's were taken by the same clinic and is the clinic I would recommend for bone contouring.

You can ask to take a photo of your image when on the doctor's computer screen.

Then you can decide for yourself whether you need zygoma reduction or v line surgery. One clinic said I needed both! Three clinics said I did not need v line. Two clinics said I needed zygoma reduction. Three clinics said I didn't need zygoma reduction. Three clinics said I needed a facelift. This is why you need to go on consults with several clinics. Clearly you can see in my facial bone imaging I do not need v line surgery (I had sonopet chin shaving already) and my zygoma does not stick out to the side as much as some of the clinic befores so it is 50:50 whether I needed this. Don't blindly trust one clinic but get a consensus and what I did learn back in Jan 2020 was I needed a facelift as all the clinics concurred on this.

I am hoping as I age my cheekbones will naturally reduce as it is borderline whether I needed zygoma reduction but my concern is I don't have much mandible bone left for aging bone loss which accelerates in one's 60s and 70's.

Hello blonde! Well it is official. Blonde hair does make a lady more attractive. I can’t make myself as attractive as I can as a blonde. Blonde hair lifts the eyes upward so the face looks younger. How much does a full head of highlights cost in your country? I paid £120 for a full head of blonde highlights, toner and blowdry today at Robson Studios in London with Robson himself. He found a small round patch of alopecia at the base of my scalp which had not been there in February and then I realised I stopped taking my daily calcium supplement on 30 January! Ladies if you are postmenopausal and lactose intolerant, take calcium! No wonder my nails were brittle with vertical nail splits! My body was low in calcium which causes alopecia, dry hair and brittle nails! I still love my side profile. In 13 days I get to say hi to Dr Lucian Ion who did my rib rhinoplasty and chin shaving with the sonopet knife 7 years ago!

Hi Ms Orange, thanks for sharing all your experiences and advise as a medical doctor. I have been reading your posts for the past 6 years. Thanks for the consistency and the open sharing.

Like to share my experience below for Dr Kwon/eyelid/FG procedure.
Have questions to seek your advise, if you have time please.
(a) On Eyelid
I went to Dr Kwon (Teuim) for double eye lid and revision (to give a more lifted look) - Jan 2013 (1st), and May 2014 (2nd).
Dr Kwon in my opinion did a fantastic work on my eyes, the 2nd revision was to give a more lifted look. It could be that Dr Kwon's aesthetic is for natural eyes, 2nd time we managed to get it. I was pleased in the results in above 2 occasions. Dr Kwon placed some fat undereye (aegyo sal they call it?) Last time was in my twenties - so didn't need upper eyelid fat.

Recovery was amazing - both times recovery back to normal in about 2 weeks. Post surgery looks good, recovery also looks good.

Issue now is that I've some eyelid skin to pull up. This is expected after a gap of 7 years and 3 pregnancies later
However, the pain from the surgery and the prospect of going back is making me sit on my hands. I researched your posts and found a post which you wrote on 3rd September 2016: "Kwon uses ketamine as patients at Teium experience the K hole hallucination" - I think this is it. I could feel the hallucination effects quite soon after it was in, and strangely I was aware that I was hallucinating. Hallucinating effects is feels bizarre, but not a problem for me. Because it happens in a safe zone - lying down on a bed.

Its that after the hallucination effects wore off - I thought that the procedure had ended and was happy. To my dismay, surgery is just about to start. During the procedure, I was fully lucid and was aware of the pain. Dr Kwon requires patient to participate in opening and closing the eyes. Dr Kwon was re-assuring and I could hear him humming to the song in the background, I think to allay anxiety. These days when I hear the opening to the song Careless whisper, it brings me straight back to Teuim clinic.
But pain nonetheless....gotta endure..

Now, I'm keen to go back to Dr Kwon's clinic, but feeling dread from having to go through the pain.

(b) Fat graft
Did FG 2times at Dr Kwon's clinic - 1 time extraction and fat filled, and 2nd top up sometime 6 months (i think top up). - Jan 2013/Aug 2013
1 time extraction and fat filled, and 2nd time top up - Year 2015/2016.
1st time FG extraction felt like someone was doing Bojin massage to my thighs.
2nd time FG Year 2015/2016 felt like pokes to the thighs. I suppose lesser fat after 1st time extraction

I emailed clinic - they said Im likely to have insufficient fat to top up - Year 2023

QUOTES as at March 2023, as a returning patient
(1) Eyelid - 2.5-3.5mil krw
(2) Full face FG 2.5mil krw (clinic told me current rate is 4mil won)

**************************************************************************************************

May I ask do you have recommendations for revision eyelid surgeons who are great at what they do, minus the pain?
And is it possible to be sleeping throughout the eyelid surgery, and is 3 eyelid surgeries, this being the 3rd one planning - too much for the eye to take?

For Fat graft, is it possible to have enough fat after 7 years gap? Have put on weight from 2016 till date.

May I ask if the price above is good, and if You know of anyone who did eyelid surgery with Dr Kwon recently? It is 10 years since I first went to Dr Kwon.

For surgery arrangement, will it be better to fly to Korea and do consultation and decide on the spot which surgeon to proceed?
Reasonably will 2 weeks be sufficient to stay in Korea to complete above, or You will recommend more time?
The last time I went I had decided on Dr Kwon, so I'm just booking and flying there. Where there was eyelid procedure, i think I stayed for 10days.

Thank you for reading and your advise! Very grateful for your thread and everyone's sharing!

Hi @Everly07 I saw Dr Kwon and his gorgeous receptionist back in 2016 when I accompanied one of his patients to his clinic. I was not impressed. She had months of sausage swollen upper lid and he pushes epicanthoplasty on his eye patients and she had a massive dressing as he did this also on her.

I would pick a clinic that does not use horse tranquiliser ketamine but instead spends more on proper twilight sedation with benzodiazepine and opiate cocktail so you do not experience any pain when he harvests the fat and when he operates on your eyelids. I never had any pain or hallucinations during my eyelid surgery or any of my facial fat graft surgeries. I am sorry you had to experience pain with Dr Kwon and the use of ketamine. It is a cheap drug which is why they use it on horses in the UK.

I can only comment on my eye surgeon Dr Hyo Seok Seo and how he did my eyes, a British Chinese male’s eyes and Asian Rebecca (@smittenkitten) from Australia. I chose him after chatting and following Rebecca‘s journey. I had had countless skin only upper blephs in the UK that dropped within 1-2 years and it was only with Dr Seo that I have had this upper bleph last over 7 years now as he did ptosis muscle surgery too as well as eyelid fat graft and upper bleph.

As for prices, the local Korean price for a full face fat graft is between 500,000 and 1 million KRW. 2.5 million won is the price smaller Korean clinics charge foreigners. 4-5 million won is the DA clinic price as they cater to Chinese medical tourists and price accordingly. As you are a repeat client, he should be charging 1 million won at most. I got multiple surgery and repeat client discounts with Dr Seo but I had Ellen, the mvp manager translate and negotiate for me.

In my opinion, Dr Seo now at his own clinic Machimpyo and Dr Hong at Fresh clinic are the best at facial fat graft in Korea. For a first time client, 2.5 million won for full face fat graft for a foreigner is standard but you can negotiate if you are having multiple surgeries, blog, do reviews, allow use of photos, are a repeat customer, pay cash etc. And for revision bleph, I would only recommend Dr Seo as he even takes on botched eyes and makes them pretty again. As a first time patient of his, I paid 3.5 million won for upper lid bleph with ptosis correction and upper lid fat graft which included one free top up. As you are a repeat client and getting full face fat graft too, you should negotiate. For my eyelid surgery with Dr Seo I was awoken to sit up so he could see the eyelids open and closed so he could ensure perfect symmetry. Then I went back to sleep.

Hi @MissOrange, you look great!!!
Why do you say go for traditional lipo instead of Vaser? I was thinking of doing mini-lipo to the lower stomach and thighs. My BMI is only 19.5 so I'm not 'curvy' just wanting the contour. Also does dairy mean flatter stomach?

Hi @Addyson, I have had 1 traditional lipo and 1 vaser lipo to my tummy in the past and hands down choose traditional. Traditional gives you instant results. Vaser fills your tummy with fluid and remains hard and swollen for months! I had asked for traditional but the surgeon pushed the newer Vaser and boy did I reget the results. Who wants to wake up to a barrel tummy for months and months waiting for your body to absorb the fluid poured in during vaser lipo. Many surgeons prefer vaser as it is easier and quicker to fill the area with tumescent fluid and suction than traditional liposuction that takes longer and more effort. Then when I had traditional suction lipo to my flank, thighs and knees for my breast fat transfer, I awoke with skinny K pop thighs and loved it! Here I am in a pair of brand new LK Bennett suede boots I got on ebay for £39.45 which retailed for £520 showing off my super skinny thighs! No more thunder thighs rubbing each other.

As for dairy, the opposite. If you are lactose intolerant as many Asians are, any dairy causes the tummy to swell. If this fat is placed in the face, then you can imagine what happens to my cheeks after I eat ice cream or cake! In my daughter’s wedding photos, there are photos of me with a slim face before I ate the dairy pudding and after I ate the pudding. I wish I had insisted on no photos after dessert or taken a lactase enzyme tablet to break down the lactose. You know you are lactose intolerant if your tummy swells up to a watermelon size after eating or drinking anything with dairy…yoghurt, milk, ice cream, cake, etc.

Today's post is on how dental work...crowns or porcelain veneers, hair dye, brow microblading and weight training transformed a viral comedian from geek to hunk! He may also have had an upper lid bleph to show off his blue eyes. Seeing is believing! Without the dental work he had an edentulous smile or no teeth show but after dental work he has a perfect smile with plenty of teeth show.

To look youthful means to have plenty of teeth show for an attractive Farah Fawcett smile.

What a difference it made!!!

Has Yeonmi Park had V line bone contouring surgery? Here is a timeline collage from 4 years ago at age 25 bottom right to top left at age 29 a few months ago. She has thinned her eyebrows, had upper bleph to correct uneven eyelids, had full face fat graft to round her forehead and fill her malar cheeks, had either lip lift or lip filler with permanent lip liner perhaps? What do you think?
