This looks like the best facelift surgeon in Turkey…He charged £8,500 for a facelift for this 50 year old lady and she looks fab at 18 weeks postop. He also did a lip lift on her and you can see how dramatically younger she looks with a lip lift and face lift…looking 20s! No one says make me look 20s when they see a plastic surgeon. What they say is they do not like their jowls, sagging face, no upper teeth show, sunken face, etc. If rejuvenation is done correctly, the result will be a youthful face that does indeed look 20s as all signs of aging are removed. If any signs of aging remain, then one ends up looking 30s or 40s.

Hi @BabyQ how much did you pay for your facelift at VLIF? I paid £3,500 in the UK (~5 million won) which included free revision within 1 year. I have noticed that if one gets a facelift abroad, free revision is rarely included so this additional cost for any laxity in the first year has to be taken into account. I can’t afford Korean prices for facelifts as they are trying to compete with US prices and last time I checked Bio clinic in Korea charges $25,000.

As for whether a 66 year old can get rid of nasolabial folds, of course they can with fat grafting and facelift as I have done at 56. I no longer need dermal fillers for my nasolabial area. The fact that her nasolabial creases have reappeared at 3 months suggests the facelift is dropping or deswelling. A 60 year old British lady had her free revision with my surgeon and she looks great as she took a week of steroids postop. She has no nasolabial creases.

Seeing is believing. I put my selfies in this thread and my videos in my private IG account. I think before you choose a surgeon ask to see videos of former patients as they are more telling than selfies. I have shared my videos with anyone contemplating my surgeon to reassure them of my results but add the caveat they need to source their own prescription for postop prednisolone.
I paid a total of 15.5 million won, full SMAS facelift (including a necklift), and Endotine endoscopic forehead lift. They also did some liposuction on my neck, zygomas, nasolabial folds as part of the facelift procedure without additional costs. I didn't need any revisions as my jowls are now super snatched and nasolabial folds are about 90% gone.

You have to learn about the anatomy of face and different types of lifts before to understand. 1) Nasalfolds arent just due to sagging skin... the reason the get deeper as we age is because of bone and fat loss, no facelift can get rid of nasalfolds. 2)SMAS lift was a very natural route for this women. She should have gotten a Deep plane but its alot more expensive.. 3)she probably wanted to keep her eye shape and didnt want a bleph but the brow lift helped smooth and lift her eyes a bit. 4) A face loft doesn't just chnge the whole face.. bleph, fat transfer, lip lift, filler cam make her look younger but she doesnt want that. She wanted a refreshed look

For those interested in chin shaving, the most innovative technique is the sonopet or ultrasonic knife shaving of bone. Lucian Ion in the UK did my chin shaving this way and it was painless with much less swelling than the old fashioned way of chin osteotomy bone cutting and screws in South Korea. Here is my chin in profile. The cost for the chin was roughly £3000 as the total for rib rhinoplasty and chin reshaping was £10,000.
Explain it more please ,the chin shaving ultrasonic part Thankyou

Hi @naimal, no he was not my surgeon. I just came across his IG and impressive results at 18 weeks. My friend chatted with this patient and she actually paid £7k (and not £8500) including travel and hotel in Turkey for 2 weeks and the facelift! If you like a result on IG track down the patient and then chat with them and ideally zoom or video chat with them to see their face in motion and hopefully not photoshopped.

Hi @naimal, Dr Lucian Ion was way ahead of his time. 7 years ago he used the innovative sonopet utrasonic blade to precision trim my too long chin bone and make it softer and improve my side profile. He accessed my chin bone through my mouth. I had no swelling or bleeding. I have attached my before chin in my early 30s and present chin at 56. It looked very masculine. Recovery was instant and painless. Now the sonopet is used by cranial surgeons in feminisation surgeries.

This women had like 8 different operations. Brow lift, lip lift, upper blepharoplasty, lower blepharoplasty, fat transfer to mouth, temples, cheeks , rhinoplasty, deep plane facelift, neck lift, Botox and fillers right after surgery.

You cant compare this to a woman who is 20 years older then her who just had a face SMAS lift

Hi @CriscianaCoCo, the lady had everything done for only £7000 in Turkey so why pay $15-25k for one facelift in Korea? £7000 for deep plane facelift, necklift, brow lift, upper and lower blepharoplasties, lip lift and fat injections and she looks great at 18 weeks! Why pay $15k to only look 10 years younger and still not more beautiful when one can pay $9k and look stunningly beautiful and 25-30 years younger? Okay we need to follow her for a year but as we age our income goes down in retirement so we have to comb the globe looking for the best board certified plastic surgeons for rejuvenation surgery if we don't want to experience ageism and being invisible in society. I like how this Turkish professor understands rejuvenation surgery and has done what I have had done elsewhere. He knows the importance of a facelift, blepharoplasties, fat injections and lip lift. No she has not had a rhino. My British friend is actively chatting with her.

I have an Asian friend who had her rhinoplasty in Turkey by a famous rhino specialist and was very impressed with her natural results so I have added him to my private reference list just like I have added this Prof.

That said, what is good in Korea? Eyelid surgery and lid fat graft especially if you have Asian eyes, full face fat grafting (as the lady who had fat injections in Turkey says the fat injected into her lips did not last) and facial bone contouring. In Korea, they often put silicone grafts in the nose as it is easier than ear or rib cartilage and if you push for rib, they push for irradiated cadaver rib cartilage. Putting a silicone implant is the easiest and cheapest way to get a bigger and more projected nose but it is not done in the US and UK for health reasons. Unfortunately rhinoplasty costs over £10k now in the UK so many do resort to flying to Asia for a silicone rhinoplasty for 3-5M won. When I look at K drama actors I keep thinking big silicone noses. It truly is a trend in Korea.

Today I learned a new term…’runner’s face’! https://marathonhandbook.com/runners-face/

We ladies have to deal with menoface at menopause from loss of fat and collagen but for running enthusiasts, they also may have to cope with saggy runner’s face too which may cause premature ageing! I have noticed ladies who spend extensive time in the sun develop thickened ‘leathery’ skin over time. Ladies remember to limit sun exposure and to always wear foundation with spf, the higher the better. The more sun damage, the more ageing sun spots on the face. If you have freckles, your skin is super sensitive to the sun so wear spf 50! Keep well hydrated and facial fat is your friend. Without fat, the face may develop wrinkles faster. As I now have a forehead full of fat graft, I have no forehead wrinkles. This is one way to tell where you have fat loss…follow your wrinkles.

Hi @naimal, sadly no. It is a shame as the biggest complaint with bone contouring surgery in Korea is the postop pain. In Korea they also only give you tylenol to take home for pain. With the sonopet knife I had zero pain! I think in Korea they still use the old fashioned method of cutting bone. It is the one thing I dread about in Korea…their anaesthetists often do not give strong enough analgaesia with general anaesthesia. A top Uk anaesthetist ensures there is zero postop pain. Bone pain is the most painful pain one can experience.

Please share contact of a good sonopet expert I would like to consult with him for sure

@MissOrange , the difference is a Korean doctor specializes in ASIAN face. An Asian woman may not get the same result from a doctor in Turkey as she would with a doctor in Korea. Our bone structures, facial muscles, skin type are all totally different! It's not a "one face fits all" type of surgery. If you are Asian, you need to go to a doctor that specializes in Asian faces.

Here is a skull at 35 vs 80 years of age. Really scary to think this much facial bone loss occurs as we age, especially in the mandible. With extreme bone contouring in Korea, what will the surgically thinned mandible look like when much older? Will the lower face simply collapse? Will one need a jaw implant but which surgeon would do that for a 70 year old? Is having a small face with bone cutting in one's 20s putting one at risk of facial collapse in one's 70s or earlier? Is having a mouth full of crowns over shaved down tooth pegs putting one at risk of becoming edentulous and hastening mandible bone loss? Icon Jaclyn Smith is 75 years old. Life is certainly not over in one's 70s. One needs strong facial bones as a scaffold for the facial structures and soft tissues. Sigh. Maybe I should not have shaved my chin with surgery as my jawbone needs all the bone it can get as I head into my 60s in 3.5 years time.

OMG!!!! It's bad enough we get old, sag, and now we'll most likely lose our teeth and most of the bones around it?!
