I have come a loooooonnnnngggg way in my 7 year facial rejuvenation journey. Here is a b&a. This month’s selfie is on the right at age 56 and the before was at age 49, my menoface severely lacking in oestrogen and fat. Try to work out what I had done? The super long and hollow face on the left needed repeated full face fat graft to reinflate my upper eyelids, forehead, temples, cheeks, lower face and a lower smas plication facelift was needed to pull up and trim away 7 cms of loose skin so that I could see my jawline. Be careful you do not get side jaw shaving when actually you need a facelift. Pull up your skin to see if you can see the outline of your jawbone. I pencil my brows now as it costs £500 for eyebrow tattooing that lasts 2 years. The bullhorn lip lift re-established the ideal 1:2 ratio of philtrum to chin. Before it was 1:1. A big shout out to Dr Hyo Seok Seo for my eyes and full face fat graft, Dr Choi of MVP for my vermilion lip lift that removed filler and scar tissue from my upper duck lip, Dr Caroline Mills for my bullhorn lip lift, and Dr Nick Rhodes for my small invisible scar smas plication facelift with absorbable sutures still holding up at 14 months. Dr Mills could be a multimillionaire just doing private lip lifts under local but she has returned to the NHS as a paediatric maxillofacial surgeon. She truly was the best in the world for bullhorn lip lifts. She took away just the right amount and was not too conservative like other UK plastic surgeons. She had an amazing aesthetic eye and surgical ability as she also trimmed muscle as well as skin and soft tissues. I think as she was a maxillofacial surgeon she had a better understanding of the area than a plastic surgeon.

I prefer the pic collage of me compared to my 25 year old self. I was pretty when I was young! Menoface and aging are cruel. It strips looks from ladies. Thank goodness I worked out how to regain my youthful face. Hopefully by following my journey it will take you less than 7 years to achieve. Remember never pay more than £10k for any one procedure as facial rejuvenation requires multiple different procedures and you will need money to fund this or be stuck with an odd looking face that is halfway there but not completed. Remember you will not need botox or fillers if you have had a good facelift and good full face fat graft.

Thanks for recommending Dr Seo. I'm thinking about going to him next week but is he the old school way cuz I heard something about stem cell or with PRP....and I think he is not board certified?
Hi @chynababyface, Dr Seo was board certified in plastic surgery when I had my surgery with him. Dr Hong of Fresh is not board certified in plastic surgery.

Here is the link to check...https://www.plasticsurgery.or.kr/eng/search/index.php?page=8&keyfiled=name_en&keyword=Seo

Oddly I do not see Hyo Seok Seo on the list now?

Ladies are asking me how to contact Dr Seo. I found this website that has photos of his clinic and operating theatre and has contact details, including an email address. Hope this helps. The site says he has performed over 20,000 procedures and 10,000 eye operations. He did my revision DES, eyelid fat graft and full face fat graft with top up. OMG! His full face fat graft is advertised on allaboutmei for only 1.2 million won which is about $1100 or £800! In the UK it costs from £7000! I like how he is advertising Korean prices even for medical tourists. ://medical.visitseoul.net/en/institutions/268

@MissOrange Do you recommend fat graft to upper eyelid and under eyes due to almost irreversible results or would you think fillers are better bet? As you can see my left eye is more hollow.

Hi @chynababyface your upper lid hollowing is very minor. You could drink more water and it may plump up. I would not recommend fillers anywhere near the eyes. If the hollowing from fat loss gets worse, you could get a consult to consider eyelid fat grafting.

In just over 3 weeks time I get to show my face to an audience and my rhino surgeon Lucian Ion will be on the panel! He hasn’t seen me in 7 years. He will be pleasantly surprised his rib rhino with dissolvable sutures has lasted this long. Touch wood! I can’t decide whether I go with my dark hair which is now healthy and growing, wear the super long blonde wig to make an entrance or get a half head of highlights and go blonde again. I have to admit I look prettier as a blonde as it brightens up the face too but the cost is more hair thinning and drying out. Here is what I look like with dark hair. It’s okay. I look Korean with dark hair. But the audience will be all British ladies mostly bleached blonde so looking Korean will stand out vs looking half half with blonde hair would make me one of them. lol.

I met a 56 yo British GP yesterday and she was shocked to hear I was her age! She said I looked half her age! lol. She asked me what I did in my retirement. How could I share that I had spent the past 6 years trying to reverse aging? lol. Stress, jobs, shift work, babies and the menopause all age one fast!

Here are a couple of snaps from the wedding. I like how it captured my figure, the result of full lower body liposuction for the breast fat transfer. It also shows how skinny my upper arms are 3 years post arm lipo in Beveren with Dr Oelbrandt! I am so glad I opted for arm liposuction rather than arm lift with its long scar. I wore compression tape 24/7 for weeks to keep my arms skinny postop. Instead of vigorous exercise, I chose the easy option to have a young looking figure. lol.

U didnot have tummy tuck n why so?
I’m 37 n doc told me I need tummy tuck

I know the post op steroid discussion has waned but I’m currently in Seoul about to get an endoscopic brow lift and SMAS lift at V.LIF on Monday and I learned that the “deswelling injections” given after surgery at each post op appointment is an IV with their own mix of steroids and other vitamins / medications that promote deswelling. So it seems there are Korean surgeons using steroids to limit swelling. Just thought I’d share :)
