U didnot have tummy tuck n why so?
I’m 37 n doc told me I need tummy tuck
Hi @naimal after my first baby I had a michelin tyre of flab around my belly. Fortunately I was in my 20s so lost the tyre after 9 months of dieting. I vowed to never gain more than 20 lbs with each pregnancy. This worked and no tummy flab after babies 2 and 3. But by my 40s I had built up some fat so I had tummy lipo twice. It worked so no need for a tummy tuck. In my 50s I had a tiny tummy flab when sitting but it went away when I lost weight to 93 lbs.

I know the post op steroid discussion has waned but I’m currently in Seoul about to get an endoscopic brow lift and SMAS lift at V.LIF on Monday and I learned that the “deswelling injections” given after surgery at each post op appointment is an IV with their own mix of steroids and other vitamins / medications that promote deswelling. So it seems there are Korean surgeons using steroids to limit swelling. Just thought I’d share
Hi @calihapagal, thank you so much for sharing this information on iv steroids postop! Wow given at each postop appointment is amazing! I shall definitely look up VLIF facelift results.

I seriously believe my face looks good at 15 months postop now because of the week of steroids I took. I have had no botox or fillers whilst others who have paid a fortune for their facelifts have gone back to botox and fillers as they either did not get steroids or got a tapering dose that was too small for their weight.

Would love to see your VLIF results and know the price too! I truly believe smas lifts are much better than deep plane in ladies under 70. My surgeon charges £5,500 now. I paid £3,500 almost 2 years ago with one free revision at 6 months postop as I did not know about steroids first time around.

I was shocked to see how much Brooke's face has aged. She is my age and applied to Princeton the same year I did. I got an interview but did not get an offer whereas she got accepted. I always thought if only I could look as beautiful as she...

I don't understand why she does not consult the best plastic surgeons in the world for fat grafting and a face and neck lift. Her face was like my meno face before Dr Seo reinflated my face and Dr Rhodes removed 7 cms of sagging skin. She needs forehead, upper lid, cheeks and lower face fat grafting as loss of oestrogen post menopause reduces facial fat volume. She then needs a face and neck lift. It is striking to see her next to her daughter. One can clearly see the effects of aging and how important it is to refill the face with fat.

Okay I had a look at VLIF korea and am not that impressed. At 3 months (video screenshot of her next to her daughter) this 66 yo's nasolabial lines have come back after her smas FL. Her eyes are still small after brow lift. I think she needed upper bleph instead.

Going to Korea to source out different plastic surgeons was a hassle. It took a lot of time and effort to decide as everyone has their own ways of doing the surgery.

I went to Korea in April 2022 and it was nerve wrecking as it was the first time I was doing plastic surgery. I did Rhinoplasty and my jaw to sharpen it. Doing these 2 surgeries together was a pain as I could not breathe and at the same time I could not eat. Breathing through my mouth in Korea just dried out my mouth.

I finally settled on DA Plastic Surgery after all the different hospital visits to 5 other clinics. I need to commend them on their pre and post care treatments. They were so meticulous in their service and really gave great service. Whatever questions I had, they were able to respond to my queries via whatsapp on the spot.

I would really like to recommend their services. they have recently opened a new agency in Singapore which bridges the gap between Singapore and Korea DA services. They are called Dream PS Agency.

You can have a look at their instagram @dreamps.sg

This woman is 66 years old and after her FL, she turned her clock back 10-15 years. You can't expect her to look like she's 20. it will look unnatural and plasticky. Most Koreans in Korea, when getting plastic surgeries don't want to look and scream "plastic surgery". Therefore most Korean doctors tend to go for a more natural looking result. Nasolabial folds cannot be completely gone on a 66 year old woman, or else she will look stretched and fake. I'm 50 and just got a FL done at V.Lif 6 months ago. I think they did an amazing job as I now look like I'm in my late 30's. I certainly don't look like my teenage daughter, but I've successfully turned the clock back 10-15 years.

With my live show and tell event in 2.5 weeks time to show off my 15 month smas facelift result, 3+ year fat graft result and 7 year rib rhino result to an audience of British ladies keen on facelifts at a plastic surgery event, I have booked my Brazilian hair stylist for a full head of blonde highlights for Friday. I must say I am more beautiful as a blonde and miss the attention! My hair has grown since I last bleached it in December, so I think I can go blonde again but must limit bleaching to once a year. As a blonde I would go to a champagne cocktail event and the men would brazenly say how beautiful I was and one told me he would marry me when my OH died! lol. As a brunette, I am invisible. I wanted to try to stay a brunette to try to socialise with Koreans in London but realised the Korean churches have sermons in Korean and not English so I would still be an outsider. I tried zoom chats with a Korean IT guy in Korea, but my Korean was not good enough. So I shall have to accept looking half half with blonde hair and focus on Western beauty.

I am so pleased I am free of breast implants forever. I was not aware the US has a black box cancer warning on all breast implants and now the UK is considering this too. Cancer warnings could now be put on all breast implants. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...ade-scandal.html?ito=native_share_article-top

I also found out a Victoria Secrets model revealed they are given not one extra pair but 2 pairs of bra pads when modeling their bras! In my 20s I was addicted to push up padded bras as I could not afford implants. After going through 4 sets from my 30s-50s, I would never have them again. The last set were the dreaded silicone ones that caused my immune system to react badly with sustained tachycardia, rash, brain fog, etc. that all disappeared on explant.

Ladies go for natural breast fat transfer or wear padded bras. I am now over 2 years post one breast fat transfer and my breasts still look big! I love the shape and now my breasts are no longer ice cold and do not sag from the weight of implants. The longer I had implants in the more my breasts sagged over time. And with the rise in breast cancer from 1 in 11 to 1 in 8, we now know that all breast implants are known risk factors for cancer!
Thank you so much for sharing this info!

Hi @BabyQ how much did you pay for your facelift at VLIF? I paid £3,500 in the UK (~5 million won) which included free revision within 1 year. I have noticed that if one gets a facelift abroad, free revision is rarely included so this additional cost for any laxity in the first year has to be taken into account. I can’t afford Korean prices for facelifts as they are trying to compete with US prices and last time I checked Bio clinic in Korea charges $25,000.

As for whether a 66 year old can get rid of nasolabial folds, of course they can with fat grafting and facelift as I have done at 56. I no longer need dermal fillers for my nasolabial area. The fact that her nasolabial creases have reappeared at 3 months suggests the facelift is dropping or deswelling. A 60 year old British lady had her free revision with my surgeon and she looks great as she took a week of steroids postop. She has no nasolabial creases.

Seeing is believing. I put my selfies in this thread and my videos in my private IG account. I think before you choose a surgeon ask to see videos of former patients as they are more telling than selfies. I have shared my videos with anyone contemplating my surgeon to reassure them of my results but add the caveat they need to source their own prescription for postop prednisolone.

This looks like the best facelift surgeon in Turkey…He charged £8,500 for a facelift for this 50 year old lady and she looks fab at 18 weeks postop. He also did a lip lift on her and you can see how dramatically younger she looks with a lip lift and face lift…looking 20s! No one says make me look 20s when they see a plastic surgeon. What they say is they do not like their jowls, sagging face, no upper teeth show, sunken face, etc. If rejuvenation is done correctly, the result will be a youthful face that does indeed look 20s as all signs of aging are removed. If any signs of aging remain, then one ends up looking 30s or 40s.
