I clean out all of the papers, receipts, etc. as soon as I walk in the door to stay for the night. I'll also give the exterior of the bag a quick check just in case...cleaning and conditioning the exterior is something I do after I've worn the same bag for several days (or soon if it's a really light-colored bag).

I can't stand carrying a messy bag. :smile1:

I change bags every 2 days or so, so things aren't allowed to build up. Heh. I wish I could be as disciplined about the clutter in my house!

I got a good laugh this summer when I went to a stadium concert and they were doing a visual check of women's bags. The security guy looked in my bag and said "that's the most organized bag I have ever seen."

I clean it out when I change bags. Sometimes, however, I will leave loose change in the base of a bag - and then I'll clean out the change every three months or so. Change can be useful.

I keep mine clean by changing out my bags every few days. I don't actually clean the lining but then I keep everything in pouches so the purse itself doesn't get dirty.

I usually clean out my bag every night. I use pouches for organization and try to put receipts/paper in my wallet, but if I don't I collect them in the evening from my bag. Whenever I switch out for a different bag, I go over the one I am storing to make sure there aren't any scuffs/scrapes. If there are scuffs or if the leather looks dry, I will also hit it with some conditioner.

Haven't had my coffee yet - for a second I actually thought you carried a puppy in your bag! Or do you?

I clear my bag out every day (receipts, gum wrappers, anything I brought home from work) but other than that I carry pretty much the same stuff all the time.

Most of my bags are hobos so everything just goes in one place - I want to get some wristlets or pochettes to be better organized though.
