How Often Do You Clean Out Your Purse????

I clean out only when I need to change bags, but in general am pretty minimal in terms of keeping stuff inside. I got practical as I got older, lol

I do a cleanup every night before going to bed. I stay sane better that way.

I usually use bags with a lot of pockets and make sure everything is in the right one. I also use pouches, one for makeup, one for meds, everything goes in a pouch or pocket.

I also do pouches. Makeup, meds and misc all stay in their own specific pouches at all times. I do throw things in my bag along the day - receipts, water bottles, kleenex, trash, dog toys, Lego, whatever I have in my hands - and clean them out in the evening. Makes my mornings easier as well, since I know I can just grab my bag and go and I have everything I might need during the day. If I want/need to change bags, it just about always happens in the evening. Because if I do it in the morning, it's not a thought out decision and almost surely will end in disaster, like me forgetting to switch my keys into the new bag...

Once a week. I love an organized, clean bag. I wipe down my keys, cards, and iPhone with a Lysol wipe and depending on the type of bag, I spot clean or put it in the washing machine. I also treat my leather bags with leather protectant.

I’m like some other posters - daily clean out of papers and other accumulated items; then as needed, dump crumbs, threads, and little bits of fluff. I like to use those clothes roller sticky papers to get a grip on those little bits on the cloth lining of my bags. They work great in the nooks and crannies in my bags. When i change the bags, 2-3 times a week. It does not get messy, but in case if one odd bill is hiding in the pocket, or corner of the bag, it quickly finds its way to the trash bin. My stuff is all sorted in pouches.

OMG! I thought I was the lone gal who regularly wipes down my phone and other items with Lysol wipes. I need neat and clean. LOL!

Every couple of days and/or whenever I switch bags. Some people (like my mom) like to keep all sorts of junk in there - pens, receipts, tissue, cough drops, etc. But mine is usually pretty clean. I just take a quick look and get rid of the random stuff.
