How often do you change bags?

Lately I seem to have been in a Mulberry kinda mood, and astonishingly only switched bags twice within a week - into my Antony last weekend and today into a LP Medium LH so that I can fit all my day trip essentials in. Other than that, the usual business of switching bags at least once a day has been totally off for me. I think I may be coming down with flu or something...

Every 2-12 weeks. Once I'm in a bag, I stay. Busy career women, 3 school age children, and similarly casual lifestyle. Rarely go out, so my special occasion bag are rarely used.

Like the title suggests, I am wondering how frequently you all switch out your purses? It seems like all the fashionistas I follow on Instagram change their bags every single day to coordinate with their outfits. While this makes for great photos, I have found it is not exactly practical! I, for one, can't be bothered to switch my every day bags more than once every couple weeks, unless it is a special occasion and I need a smaller clutch/cross body.

Same here. Usually carry one bag for daily use, special occasion bag for special events (date night, etc). Great thread!

Whenever I feel like it .. usually at the end of the week unless I really like the bag also if my wardrobe requires a different type then I am using or the occasion calls for more formal/causal .. etc etc ..

I switch bags several times per week...sometimes daily. Sometimes, I will carry the same bag for two to three days before switching. The only exception is bad weather. I have carried the same bag for the past week because it has been storming here. I carried a bag that I didn't care if it got wet. Today was the first day that was clear and I immediately switched into a new bag. It was almost painful to have to carry the same bag for that long LOL

I usually carry my newest purchase for a couple of months straight, with changes in between accounting for bad weather, carrying loads of stuff or special occasions. If there is no new purchase I stick to my favorite at that time.

Not often at all. If I have a favorite, I'm dead set on it. Have to remind myself to switch bags.
