I have multiples of several styles. ( Lots of us here do. ) When a particular bag really works for you, it's totally fine to get that same bag in different colors. That being said, only you can decide if you need to return or not.
If you really regret your decision, don't cut the tags off of it or use it, just keep it in its shopping bag somewhere safe. Mull it over for a week or so and if you decide to return...that's okay too.

I have bought a few on EBay, mostly from the Legacy line.

From Coach, I have only bought two: Large Embossed Edie - which I resold for a profit when Gaga's dog was added to the site and the hologram market tote, which I returned this past Monday.
And one from Lord & Taylor (neon taxi tote) which I also resold.

I'm not loving the new stuff. 🙁

I like kate spade more and I have access to both a full price store and outlet (vs just an outlet for coach now that they closed so many stores.)


I even bought my first dooney and bourke last month. never considered them before but since I had the BC coupon went in and found one I like!


I do love coach's new hologram purse, but I'm not paying $450 for it....

Omg i dont even wanna count... I got 2 of the same color (sold one after using it and getting dirty-ish) neon yellow rhyder 23, i got a mini orange shearling rhyder 18, coach boots that match it. And im about to get the hologram and oil slick bags... So total 5. And im tempted by the swagger 20 but dont like any of the colors

Final tally of keepers for this year, now that my oil slick rivets mini Dakotah is ordered, is six vintage/ pre-loved and eight new. New ones are two MFF mini Coras (stars coated canvas and metallic cherry/ oxblood crossgrain), MFF Minetta (stone suede and pebbled), Madison gathered top handle bag (purple iris), gathered leather small satchel (red currant), small flap Dakotah (black/ black), mini Stud P (black), and the aforementioned oil slick rivets mini Dakotah.

Okay. I do see some white spots on the turnlocks but I don't know if it has worn away or if it's from the white paint on the wall where I throw my bag down at the end of the day. I've noticed white marks on quite a few of my bags so I have to remember to be careful. I don't use the long strap. I took it off my bag the first day.

Somehow only purchased five bags this year.

Three were pre-owned and in excellent condition Kristin bags from 2011 (spectator tote, baby sage, op art sequin satchel).

Two were my Nomad pair, in oxblood and butterscotch, which I bought last week.

I don't plan to buy any others.

This is the lowest volume of new or used handbags acquired by me since 2012 (though I have since sold every one of those purchases except for my precious LE colorblock Candace).

At the moment I have 32 bags, 22 of which are Coach.

(Yes, I do have a spreadsheet for all of this!)

Coach has a Thanksgiving sale going on until the end of today, and it's 30% off $500 or above. I was able to look at the hologram market tote, just not really my style.

Let's see, 7: Nomad in racing green, true red, and exotic embossed stone; saddle bag 35 in saddle/carmine; edie with large whiplash in Surplus; Swagger 37 in navy embossed croc; and the chalk tall tatum in whiplash. Debating on adding the Swagger 37 colorblock in chalk, but until then need to stay put!! Originally, I wasn't going to buy Saddle 35 until February...change of plans with the PCE!!

Earlier this year I was at my Marshall's store and they had the nylon Crossbody bags for $49.99. They had it in blue, beige and black. Since I couldn't decide which color to choose, I bought all 3. Lmao

I also bought the black/brown Crossbody double zip bag and double zip wristlet to match at the outlets a few months ago. 😀

And on eBay I bought the red metallic hang tag wristlet.
