I've purchased and kept 4 new bags this year at a total cost of $834:

1) Large Soft Retro Suede Borough in Honey 32295 (Coach outlet, $268)
2) Bonded East West Town Tote Retro Leather Borough 30381 (Coach outlet, $152)
3) Workwear Rhyder 33 Colorblock Satchel 33919 (Coach outlet, $282)
4) Bleecker Striped Coated Canvas Large Preston 30173 (Saks Outlet, $132)


I haven't completely made up my mind about keeping the Preston yet, but I will have to decide soon.

Bought quite a few. So far I've used the Jade and blue croc rhyder, red Charley crossbody, denim Turnlock bucket and the true red nomad. Still on the fence about a couple others.

This is exactly why I have been trying to stick with a ban!! I have given away/sold a few of my older bags so that helped a bit. Majority of them were over 50% off. Friends / Family also tend to give me Coach gift cards for birthday / Christmas which also help to enable me. My goal for 2016 is to have 1 shelving unit in my main closet for bags. If something new doesn't fit then I have to sell or give away something old.

See to me then that is not so bad, i actually counted one bag in my minimal purchases and it was a birthday gift lol.

I have actually sold and returned much more, plus bought other brands as well, so i am not as innocent as i appear.:angel:

As I began to count, I realized I should join the ban thread. However, half of my purchases were rehabs. The other half were a combination of pieces I couldn't justify purchasing before at full price. I am waiting on the PCE and SAS to see what others I may want to add. Although I enjoy Coach, I am a hobbyist by nature. :amuse:

Wait wait wait ... we get to deduct gifts? ;) Well then I'm down by three. (One Cora and the gathered Sophia were anniversary, and the Lucky will be part of Christmas. ;) )

I have a wonderful, sweet husband, who has absolutely no idea how to buy gifts. At all. So I just do the same thing his mother always does ----- point and smile. :D

Even though I haven't spent much of my own money on bags because they were gifts, I still feel I have too many. I don't go out of the house everyday so I don't get to use them as much as I want. I will always keep a select few for sentimental reasons but the rest I need to cut down on. I would like to get under 30. I'm comfortable with my amount of SLGs though. I can fit them all in 2 drawers so it's not like they take up a lot of space.

According to my records, I bought 19. That's a mix of new-to-me ebay finds, outlet purchases, FOS purchases, and FP boutique purchases. I think by year's end, it'll be 22-23 bags. I've had a good year.
