You'll also note the tears are at the piping where the pleat seams are on the suede. All 4 pleat seam areas for me... The piping looks like it was a struggle for them to sew there on the bag. But at this one the leather tore in spots. So weird. I'm sure it's a fluke. But as I said I'm spooked now.

I looked at the piping on mine after reading about yours. Mine is not as severe as yours, but I did see some loose stitching in like two places. But the materials are still in good condition. Nothing torn. It’s good that you returned yours. I may do the same but for an exchange rather than a full return.

Eeekkk...I better check mine thoroughly tomorrow. When I got it I examined the outside of my bag closely but not the inside.

I did the same. I guess I was just so excited about it that I didn’t think about the inside stitching. Plus mine was still in that super packaging from JAX. I’m going to look at it more thoroughly in the sun too.
