Thank you so much for the tip! Do you mind if I ask which store did you get the Birkin 30? And how did you do that? Just called in the store and asked for the bag? I’m appreciate your answer.

I’m honestly so panic when you said that no bag till today

I've been waiting over two years and they kept saying to buy more which I did purchase more items that I wanted. I just walked into a store on the West Coast and asked for a Birkin 30. Pure luck however, it is possible. I didn't even buy a twilly as I had so many items from my local store ha ha.

Honestly, if you already have a profile with your local store, I would keep trying there. In the world of H, four months waiting for your first quota bag is really not that long at all and definitely not long enough to burn your relationship with the store, imo. Vegas has lots of wealthy customers too (plus many from overseas) and they know all the tricks. In my experience, they will not offer coveted bags to customers who have local profiles elsewhere, without significant immediate spending in the Vegas store. And because of the touristy type location, they get more foot traffic of people just looking for B/Ks to the point where they’ve honed their “I’m sorry, no stock” speeches to an art form. The H game often requires patience if you want to play it but the good news is that subsequent bags are usually easier to acquire. Good luck.

I’m living in Bay Area, California. I go to the store in Palo Alto. I bought an Evelyne bag, 1 fine bracelet, 1 fashion bracelet, few scarfs, bag charm and some homeware items. I don’t ask for specific bag, just b25 or b30 or k28 and I’m open to any colors and hardware.

When I mentioned to him about the B/K bags, he said that my profile is not strong enough. I was every confused and asked him directly that how much do I need to spend in order to get offer? He said no limit just keep buying the other stuff.

I understand that 4 months is not long enough for the H game. I will check with my SA again after another few months shopping with him to make sure that I will get offer form the bag as being loyal customer to the store and the SA.

Yes, of course I don’t want to break my relationship with the SA. I just want to test my luck when I am in Vegas for vacation.

Have you got offer for the bag at the store yet? My SA told me that they always have stocks for Birkins, Kelly and Constance but they will prioritize for the client who shop with them more often.

Yup, I got offered a B30 and I took it.

That's interesting information your SA told you. I think they always try to switch up what they say. If you go twice a month, then that's pretty often. I don't know your situation, I'm just an internet stranger answering a question...it sounds like your SA is trying to get you to spend more money. Maybe try to let your SA work a little harder for you and try to take a little time off (which I know is harder said than done).

No worries, your answer is really helpful for my situation right now. What you said is just like my husband told me “Your SA just tries to rip you off and he will never offer you any bags”. He asked me to buy directly from a reseller instead of wasting time and money with the store.

Honestly my SA is not very friendly. I’ve tried to make a friendship with him but he sounds not interesting. That’s why I now only contact him if I want to buy something so that he has my purchase’s history.

No judgement at all. I don't think one should be spending money on other things when one really wants a Birkin. Seriously consider going to a reseller. I tend to go off-topic so I wanted to help direct you. Best of luck!!!

I started a relationship with H last Feb, one year ago. I bought a fragrance and a SLG. Due to health issues I disappeared for 1 year but I was happy to see that my SA recognized me and remembered my name after 1 year. So this year I started with fine jewelry, fragrance and a clic clac. I stop by maybe once a week to chat and she is very receptive. I asked for a mini Lindy and all she says is that the mini is very popular..... seems like she is making me lose hope. If I can’t even get a mini lindy how the heck will I get a Kelly? Darn. All the fine jewelry I wanted had to be shipped from another store and it has been a hassle but she has fought for me so I could get those items. I am trying to read her behavior..... is this waiting normal? Goodness

Yes the waiting is normal. I’d venture that currently a mini lindy is way more difficult to get than a Kelly so you may just need to be patient.
