Really? I was trying to find an example of him saying it somweher else but couldn't - he slowed it down on Oprah so the emphasis was equal.

hmm i pronounce the E in the prives, but not the decolletes. i don't think there should be accents over the e's in decollete, but not sure.

also - i'm noticing a lot of ppl say lou-bou-TIN, like tin foil. very strange. ciara said that in her VMA interview.

hope this can help a bit:

for louboutin:
lubutein (last ei pronounce like the french words: vin, plein, matin)
you don't pronounce the last N and the emphasis is on 'tin'


for prive (privé):
you do pronounce the last E lik 'ee': privé


for decollete (décolleté)
pronounce like this: "décoté"

none of the style names have the accents written on the boxes or on online sites but I always pronounce the accents as appropriate based on the meaning of the word in french. I also speak italian and spanish and its true some styles I pronounce based on my knowledge there .. like Roccia which is sounds more like Rochia, although its not a style name but a type of python.. hmm Castillana comes to mind also.
