I think that all of this talk about how Louboutin is pronounced seems a bit silly. ..
I wonder if to be hired as an SA, you have to go through pronunciation boot camp! :greengrin:Honestly if you call a boutique a few dozen times and listen to the automated greeting, you can practice from there.![]()

Well, I can take comfort in knowing that 99% of the people I say his name to will have no idea what the correct pronounciation is anyway!!I'm am terribly Americanized and horrible at accents.
haha, definitely not, since most of them don't seem to even know what the style names are, let alone how to pronounce them! I know this has a lot to do with the fact that both NM and Saks (and I'm sure others) refer to their CLs with generic names, like "suede pump" .. very descriptive!
Haha that is so true. Anyone I talk to about CLs just calls them "Loubs" or "Loubies" anyway. And most people in my circle have no clue so I just don't talk about it at all. My mom calls them my "fancy red soled shoes" And my darling husband calls them "Christian Louiebuittons" - Like Louis Vuitton but with a B, and all one word. He does it of course, just to drive me crazy.![]()
