How do you display your Coach bags or store them?

I'm bumping this thread since this is exactly what I've been thinking about tonight! I have a very small, but growing collection, and a one bedroom apartment. So I'm trying to find out how others store their bags and accessories to get some ideas of what I can do.

Anyone else have any pictures of their "storage systems" that they'd like to share? :smile1:

mine are stored. i don't really have anywhere to display them, and besides I have cats and a six year old. i'm the only one in the house that gives a damn about them, so there's no reason to display them.

Here is the Ikea cabinet. It's missing a few bags though. Sorry it's so big, I wasn't sure how to make is smaller!

Oh Wow I really love that how much was that if you don't mind my asking I really could use one of those

I prefer to store them. My crosset has a special section for all my coach bags and they are in their dust bags. Even the accessories, I keep them in either dust bag or box if I don't use them. Except sometimes when I'm being lazy. When I switch to another bag, I just leave my previous bag in my living room until I found them getting dusty.

I keep them on my top shelf to look at every day, every time i open my closet doors to get some clothes, my purses are looking right at me :) I like that, this way i remember how many purses i have (and i also remember that it's enough now lol) and it's easier to say no to something when i can see that i have plenty already :) I tried boxing them up for a while, but it's not as "FUN" for me than the displaying :)

i posted on new year's day about how my dad fixed new shelves onto my cabinet display unit and how happy i was!

but i was still missing the glass door which has been out of stock, until now! i now have the glass door fixed! my legacy case is now complete. :yahoo:

i have plans for a pouch display cabinet too! pretty excited about it... i will probably get them next month! will keep everyone posted! :okay:

I do display my bags and accessories. They are stuffed at all times to retain their sahpe and they are in no direct sunlight so I don't believe I'm causing them any harm they wouldn't endure by being carried often. I have bags that I have not carried in 3-5 months! POOR BABIES!!!

I know that some people believe that their bags will be harmed by being exposed, I am not one of those people. I would however cover them if they were going to be exposed to any type of direct sunlight or even if they would be exposed to indeirect all day! I have mine where they run NO risk of either! Here's some recent pic's of my display cases!

I've kept mine stored away. In fact, I've never seen them all together before--just one at a time. I keep a Coach finding aid catalogue to keep me aware of where they are.

Your Legacy Cabinet is beautiful. Do you mind if I ask where you purchased it and how much it cost? Thanks in advance. Liz

That is an awesome display case. I love it. The fact that it is closed up and you can see them is great!

My closet already had the Califonia closet built into it so, no room to put a gorgeous display case like that but, I have a lot of shelves and pull out drawers that I can fit my bags in nicely. I just keep them in their dustbags to make sure they stay in perfect condition.
