How are your Swift Bags aging?

Sounds lovely! Gulliver is just Swift by another name. Post a pic in here too.
Here she is next to box. Miss Gulliver has GHW

Edited to say neither are stuffed or buckled and they both stand very straight with no slouch. Also the skin on the gulliver is next to perfect. I forget the date code but because it is gulliver it must be over 10 years old, correct? I could check date code if anyone interested in exact age. Now since this is new to me, I am not sure how much she was carried.

Both gorgeous-I get the impression of a bit more sheen on the box- whether that is the patina and age ( how old is the box?) or the way the light hits it, can't say. But it makes sense that the box SHOULD have a bit more of a glow ( at least to me- please, anyone who knows more ( and that's everyone!) correct me if I'm wrong).
Use them both happily and in good health

The box is 2 years younger than the Gulliver. I feel they both have the same amount of sheen but the gulliver has the slight grain. Perhaps the grain and the way the light is hitting it makes the gulliver look a little less shiny. I think they are B and D stamp or thereabouts.

So glad to find this thread! I’ve got my first / only H (so far!), a Gulliver K35 from 1995, according to Bababebi! I’ve been using it now for about 3 years. I’m wondering if it’s normal for the texture to feel a bit plasticky after a while? I saw the earlier posts about the patina sheen, which mine definitely has. Since I have no other H products to compare it to, I’m not sure if it’s normal for this leather to feel thin and plasticky (and not particularly porous). It seems great in the rain though, it doesn’t seem to absorb water (which is xoxonfenienbgfor where I live!).

Absolutely GORGEOUS bag! Can't comment on the leather's feel, but perhaps "pliable" rather than "thin"? Anyway, its magnificent- wear it well!

My gulliver feels thick, soft and satiny...I would never describe as thin and plasticy...Mine is a D stamp. I wonder why they feel so different.

Same my Gulliver Kelly feels thick, soft and satiny mine is from 1994

Hmm! Mine is a Y stamp. I suppose for lack of a better word, if not "plasticky", it's sort of similar in texture to treated lambskin or goatskin like a Chanel 19 bag. It's not as porous as untouched leather, it feels like there's a bit of gloss. It was somewhat matte when I first got it and I wonder if my usage/hand oils have made it shinier? In terms of "thinness", I'm just comparing it to Chanel flaps and totes, which may not be a good comparison since I think they put board or something inside to give it more structure. I've never actually seen a B/K up close in person and none of my friends own any B/Ks so I have nothing to compare it to. :confused1: This sounds like a very sad first world problem! I appreciate any input!
