Hot stamping ... Yes or no ??

That's right. You can go to any LV store to heat stamp your LV bags/SLG, regardless it is new purchase or your existing LV goods (if heat stamping can be done on it)

That's right.
You can go to any LV store to heat stamp your LV bags/SLG, regardless it is new purchase or your existing LV bags/SLG (if heat stamping can be done on it)

I do hot stamp my wallets, business card holders, and luggage tag, but too scared to do it on my bags. I notice a lot of bags go unsold on eBay.

The hot stamping is free and I do it for all my bags (if it can be done in a nice place) but on the last occasion they had hot stamped the wrong initials on my Insolite wallet!! They were able to reverse it ( remove the gold and stamped the correct alphabet over it) but I can still see the imprint on the leather of the wrong alphabet.

Sorry to hear that, it's a horrible experience. They should replacement your wallet since that's their fault!

Hu miah! You can bring it in at any time without the receipt and they can heatstamp it for you for free. HOWEVER, I warn you as the SA may also say the same, it is a risk to heatstamp it if it isn't brand new. When the surface is brand new it allows the letters to adhere better and goes on neatly. On canvas/leather that is not new, it might not adhere as well and the color can bleed. Make sure you talk to them about that ahead of time in case they don't say anything to you because if it doesn't come out perfectly you probably be stuck with it. Maybe consider getting the heatstamp with no color so you don't have to worry about the color bleeding. Good luck, keep me updated please.
