Hello Hermesmatic Scarfies! I have just returned from my first trip to Scarf Wonderland pop up in Austin, and it was a blast. I dropped off 2 little scarves that I had chosen to Dip Dye, both will be in pink. AND! AND! I found something I had been searching for in their scarf drawers! :yahoo:

Here are before pics of the Alphabet III twilly and the Msr et Mme gavroche I took in to DD. I'll pick them up next week.

And Msr et Mme

These will be DD'd pink. We are hoping to change the blue that does not look good on me to purple, and she thinks the grey border will go a dark pinkish shade, with the ribbons going to fruit punch. The twilly should end up pink with fruit punch. :) I'll post again when I pick them up.

And then we used their cute little picture booth set up and left with 2 scarves. I had been searching for the DunJA pocket square for some time and the bandana jumped in the bag too....you know how that goes....

You'll have fun! I wish I had remembered to take some pics, but I was a tiny bit excited about the pocket square and forgot..... (Don't bother trying to park on the west side of Congress neighborhood. I think you'll have more luck on the east side.)

Thanks so much for sharing, bunnycat, so fun! Lucky finds, I'd forgotten they had un-dipped to buy! And I look forward to seeing the results of your dippers!

Thank you for posting about parking! I had hoped to drive to Austin today but will end up going next week. I can’t wait to see how your scarves come out! I have several scarves with the same grey plus light blue colors, and I’m hoping to dye them pink as well.

The lady who I think is in charge of the dipping has bright pink hair, and she was very confident in what she thought the outcomes would be on the blue and grey.

Had a lot of fun in event today. Not crowded so I took some time to look at each every pre-dyed scarves. Truly a treasure hunt. Can you imagine to get Gibiers Henri de Linares brand new from store? So many vintage designs to pick from.

That pink one right in the middle with the filigree is really pretty! Thanks for posting some pics! I wish I had remembered to!
