Had a great time yesterday! Love the drape of the dip dyes. The salespeople were kind and helpful and the colorists were knowledgeable. There were about 10 people there when I went.

The display scarves will be available for sale on only Sunday as they need them for reference, but you can buy the ones in the cases. They also had non dip dyed scarves for sale. Lots of awesome old designs: leopards, jardin anglais, FP, mer au ciel, texas, tyger tyger.....

A SA said they're going to LA in October and a colorist said they're headed to Nashville in October and LA in November. But both confirmed no SF. I wonder where they're going between now and October?

That wouldn't be cool enough for them!! I saw the location, a pain to get to!

A member from our team is going tomorrow with a scarf of mine to have it dip-dyed. It's an orange scarf (I need to find all the details) that I forgot I had and have never used. Not sure the color is going to be great for dip-dying but I want to make it a part of our editorial to talk about the entire process. Hope you all have good scarves that will come out well!

Agree that it isn't the easiest to get to from public transport, but at least it's close to the village!

I inquired about dip dying my orange scarf too and they suggested pink, it turns into a poppy color. They have an example (buldoc pattern) on display.

Anyways, looking forward to everyone's before and afters!

I didn't realize there was an hermes in Nashville

I was surprised when the colorist said Nashville, but didn't press her on it. Maybe because it's a pop up? The NY one is in the Meatpacking district. Maybe the LA one will be in Venice or Melrose? Perhaps someone else can confirm since I won't be in the area.

thank you guys so much! Oh my scarves are dirty. gross. so do they sell any kind of cleaning solution i can use? I swear i dont trust these dry cleaning places near me LOL
Hi wigglytuff! I didn't see any cleaning solution for sale but then I wasn't looking for it. As I mentioned, I was told they first launder each scarf before dip dyeing to remove any finish, etc so I imagine it emerges better than when it went in. At least that's what I'm hoping!

Ok, going back to pick mine up today after lessons (I forgot DS has two...). Depending on how my Branches comes out, I may do another. I brought three, but at most will only do one.

I've brought -

Jardin Anglais in white (top contender as I ONLY wear this in the summer and it has lots of white)
Battery Park
Samourais in pale pink

I will probably be there around 1:30. Any last minute input?

I'm thinking of dip dying this Tresors.... I love the borders but the vanilla interior does not work for me? Any advice?View attachment 3733331

I love the contrast hem here, but I totally understand when a scarf doesn't work. Sounds like the colorists on site are knowledgeable. I would bring it along and see what they advise. Please keep us posted!
