Scarves Hermesmatic - worth a try? Please post your opinions and before/after photos of scarves

Drat. I was looking forward to seeing what olive and/or grey would do. Not to mention red.
I know! Why couldn't they do this in Boston? Or better yet, offer it as a service in every boutique, the way you used to be able to send a scarf out to be plisse'd. Not sure if they still plisse scarves, but I'd love to be able to send a scarf out and have it come back a week or two later as a dip dye. Sigh.
I did overhear one of the associates at the pop-up tell a customer that they would be bringing the pop-up to other cities in the US. Sorry I have no further info but maybe coming to a city near you!
Fireworks and purple Flamingo Party are both dip dye. I didn't have the heart to dip dye the vibrant Collections Imperiales.
So I went in today is well and I dropped off my blue and white Dans les Branches de l'Ombu. My advisor suggested the pink dye so I'm very interested to see how it turns out. Sadly they wouldn't DD my Twillies.
I didn't buy anything as a lady was looking at a scarf I immediately fell in love with and of course she bought it. They have duplicates but not of that design. When I go back to pick up my Branches on Friday I'll see if they have anything else that tempts. Suzie from Madison said that if she finds another of that scarf she'll hold it for me.
I do wish I had a GM silk to dye, all I have is this Lalbhai and I don't know if I want to dye it. What do you all think???
Restricter the FP is gorgeous. I didn't even see that one! I found the violet scarves to be beautiful but the designs were very hard to see.

I had the same K en P 140 and never wore it so rehomed it . I don't know if I would have had the courage to go for it as you did, but look how gorgeous and wearable it is now!

You never know in future... for now it seems more of a publicity generating thing, bringing people who wouldn't normally think about scarves except 'that boring thing that belonged to great-aunt X', who only buy oldies on-line the chance to taste the H-experience or others who haven't bought since scarves were a reasonable price (about 2009) plus scarves they would have had to have sent to the sales are up-cycled instead. Expanding the market is where it's at.
