I am in love with the Cape Cod (after doing a lot of online watch "research"), even more so than the Cartiers, so have decided to pick one up in Paris. A few questions for you experts: Is it hard to get a watch at FSH? When purchasing the Cape Cod can you pick a strap color at that time, or do they just come with certain straps? Is the gold just plated and will it rub off? Do the diamonds stay in place for daily use? How waterproof are the watches? Can you specify quartz? Sorry if I am being a nudge, I just want to go in knowing what I am getting. And thank you in advance for any and all advice.

I have an older Heur H without the new quick change strap. Will the new straps fit the older watches? The watch appears to be the same size as what is currently being sold. I’m limited to ordering from the web as I don’t live anywhere near a boutique. Any information would be appreciated.

If it's the same size, then it should be fine. You must manually replace the strap using a strap-changing tool or take it to a place that fixes watches.

For any future straps, all you have to check is the width and length of the strap you already have.

Thank you! I thought it should be fine so I took a chance and ordered the replacement strap.

Does anyone have nantuket watch in steel bracelet version? I already have cape cod watch and wear it every day, thinking to add the nantuket for special events (like wedding/ date nights). Would love some mod shot as well, thank you!

Hello, I was hoping someone could help me with the Cape Cod sizes. Is there a size between 31mm and 37mm? Or is there only 31, 37 and 41? I think I saw one in display and the sale assistant said it was the medium size but couldn't help me further. Thx

I bought a Cape Cod in FSH in 2019. Generally, you have to buy the watch with the strap it comes with. That said, the straps are easy to change. I bought 2 additional straps at the time I got the watch, and have bought several more since then. I got the stainless steel version with Diamonds, but i believe the gold is solid gold, so wearing off shouldn't be a problem. I have 5 watches that I wear daily changing them to suit my mood/outfit etc. The Cape Cod with the diamonds is in frequent rotation, and the diamonds seem to be fine. Since I use the leather bands, I've never gotten my watches wet, so can't comment on how waterproof they are, but you probably don't want to shower, swim etc in them. Mine is quartz, do they make other movements? 25506EEC-B27F-412A-86F1-54082261C05C_1_105_c.jpeg

Here's all my straps. I have a single tour in White Matte Alligator, a double tour in Noir Swift, a single tour in Noir Epsom, a Double Tour in Gris Epsom and a Double tour in Gold Epsom. I've been looking for a white double tour for a few years now and haven't been able to locate one. I'd also like to add a Mauve pale and Etain if I can find them. 72F9D774-6068-48F9-81C9-C0BA4387A051_1_105_c.jpeg
