Hi, I've never owned an Hermes watch but for the first time I'm thinking of getting the new Kelly watch, simply because it doesn't look like a watch and can be worn as a bracelet without the lock...:P. Does anyone own one? Would love to hear your opinion even if you don't. Thanks.

I just picked it up and it’s quite nice! I’m also not a watch person at all, so this is right up my alley. I love that i can still stack a few bracelets with it.

I think they come in rose gold, not plated (hence priced higher). The heure comes in a rose gold plated version.
Very newbie question but are the rose gold watches 18k like FJ? I assume the karat is the same but (despite the recent price increases) the RG watches seem to be better priced than an analogous FJ piece.

The Faubourg model is 18k (stamped Au 750 on the back). I find the watches to be beautiful, especially with the diamonds. The Faubourg is really dainty so anyone with bad eyesight might struggle. I have small wrists so watches are easier for me than bracelets which usually are too big.

I was amazed at how small the Faubourg was when I saw it in person. Honestly for me it would be best of both worlds…I’d wear that as a bracelet (because my blind eyes couldn’t see the time) and my Apple Watch on the opposite wrist haha.

I am wearing mine now and I use it more as a piece of jewlery than watch. I anyway tend to look at the phone for time. Check with your store if they have battery changing service on site. Mine don`t so I have to have it shipped to Paris. A bit of a nuisance since the store is 250 km from me but they shipped it back to me after the change but still had to go to the store to hand it in. Luckily the battery lasts a long time.
