Are you sure it's dirty marks and not just absorptions of conditioners? Can you show what it looks like/

Working on pics - barely any room on the hard drive for phone sync...need DH's help first! Maybe in the next day or two...

The marks do look like dirt and not just conditioner absorption - faint grey tinge to them/dirt like and not darkened same colour leather type streaks from product.

My DS dropped his bottle on the bag the other day and the milk beaded off/easy wipe no mark left over. I want to do a bunch more B&O and also wanting to do a good safe cleaning first since the bag has been in rotation for a couple of months... Is it safe to try a Lexol wipe?

It looks like goatskin or calf skin lining from here but you have only given me one close up photo so I am guessing and if so it's safe to use the lexol Ph leather wipes if the thin lambskin or Kidskin do not use lexol ph leather wipes on it.

Hello Doc,
I'm attaching 2 more close up pictures of the leather lining inside. I hope that helps a bit ?
Thank you kindly.

I am sorry but it's hard for me to remember off the top of my head which leather you are writing about...
Please refresh my memory. Thank you

What does it mean to 'buff' something? How do you buff something? Do you do it with a product, or is it slang for wiping something down as the final step.. I've been wondering...

I am sure I have given many many examples of "buffing" through out this thread over many years.

Buffing is not wiping nor is it slang for wiping.

Buffing is an Verb > meaning it's an action

Buffing is Not a Noun> it is not a person, place or thing

You may wish to read this thread and discover the techniques for Buffing which is described in great detail here.
One more recent post in particular comes to mind it's called:
how to polish your bag
Within this post of feature it shows and describes the technique called buffing in part of the process of polishing.Good luck.

Looks like you have an older style lining which has become dry and shrunken to sme degree hence the wrinkling, i am sure this is simply age and time and has nothing to do with the cleaning performed by a dry cleaner which was performed on the suede exterior.
