I'm heading to Japan for a couple of weeks and am on the hunt for vintage B/K. I've done some research and the second hand market seems overwhelming, but a lot of info I've been finding are from 2019 or earlier. Based on some research, some stores I'm interested in visiting may not have survived the pandemic (RIP Roko Shira). Anyone have any insight on the pre-loved/vintage market post Covid? Is Osaka or Tokyo better? Any store recommendations? TYSM! :flowers:
Osaka may be better for secondhands. You can research Rakuten if you are able to read a bit of Japanese. Tokyo - you are competing with the huge population there - they also tend to be pricier due to rental costs.

Hello where will I get a better chance of being offered a bag - Hermes Midosuji (Daimaru Parco) or Takashimaya in Osaka?
Same chances on both stores. Best to try both. It's no longer like the old days. Pre pandemic, it was much easier to score as a walk in. My theory is that when they gave up the Midosuji building, they also lost the Osaka office and presumably, a hub for stocks

Hello, just wondering if anyone has been to the H store in Isetan or Takashiyama in Shinjuku? if so, how's your shopping experience there? I'm not looking for BKC, simply checking out items Canada doesn't have, and possibly non-quota bags. Would like to get a sense of how the overall shopping experiences are in either stores? or if anyone has other recommendations in Tokyo. TIA!

Will be in Japan in May and currently exploring all avenues for a B/K. The only prices I can find are from 2018 - does anybody have a newer price? Looking at K25 or B30.
