I was in Japan March-April this year and queued up at the Ginza flagship twice. On both days, a staff member came out 5 minutes before opening to announce to the line that no birkin, kelly, constance, picotin, bolide, or lindy were available that day. The only popular bags for sale were a garden party 30 (looked like gris tourterelle or similar color) or a herbag, which were both bought by the first parties in line. There was a good assortment of exotic non-quota bags available, including a 2002 and della cavalleria, as well as the new suitcases (RMS). They also had some rare pieces from the 2022 summer RTW collection which I couldn't find in the US.
Overall, Ginza is great if you're looking for more esoteric pieces but stock of the more popular models is bare. If you do get lucky and they have a quota bag that day, you'd need to arrive around 9:30am to be first in line and be able to buy them.
