Both July and August is terribly hot in Tokyo. Even beginning of September is unbearable. Trust me I'm from Japan. December is nice because of wonderful food!

There is no best season or month to hunt for a B or K now in Tokyo. They even keep the Lindy, sometimes. Since you already know some of the resellers here, I suggest that as you go H hunting in Tokyo and if you see any of the resellers along the way, just go in and see if you find anything you like and buy it if the price is ok to you. HTH!

as the others have suggested. there is no "best time". stocks are available in random and impossible to predict. However, July is VERY HOT. August maybe a little better. and December is just so cold.

Nonetheless 2 weeks is enough time to visit all the stores and politely request to be notified of any premium items and hope for the best.

There aren't too many pre loved scarves and silks for sale so a store on average may only have 2-3 pieces for sale. My suggestion is you try to locate Komehyo as this reseller has a whole section on RTW so they have a slightly bigger offering of silks.
