Can anyone tell me how to shop at the Hermes stores in Tokyo now? Do you have to get acquaintance with a fix certain sales associate and shop often at one shop, than likely to get Birkin? Or I heard nowadays, they will bring out the Birkin if they have in stock and if the customer ask for it.
I will be going to Japan on November, so would like to know. Thanks

I was there about a week ago and there were no Kellys or Birkins on display. The sales associate went back to check on stock after I enquired but I felt it was just for show.

I have also heard that they do display them occasionally.

I just got my first birkin in shinjuku takashimaya couple days ago. I was told I have to spend 300000 yen on clothes first in order to buy a bag as they are doing clothes event, and save he bag for clothes customer . Every store have different rules . Good luck

Congrats tulipenny! So lucky! What color and size did you get? 300000 yen is not bad at all. Did the SA tell you to buy clothes right after you asked for the B? I will go to Tokyo just for a day next month and hope to be as lucky as you.

I just asked for blue Color bag..then she asked me do I like clothes? As they are promoting clothes now. Also told me they have Kelly 28 bleu indigo Epsom and birkin 30 bleu atoll Togo ghw

Yes I bought a cardigan which is 310000 yen. I did not try it on becoz I was carrying baby with Carrier. It's size 36, but sleeves too short for me now dono what to do

I went to San Francisco Hermes today . They said they can't find This item on their system or catalogue . So they gotta contact head office first. Not sure would it be this item not available in U.S.
