Hello everyone: I bought a scarf recently at the Sydney store and I was wondering if they stock (or have) older designs. I'll ask my SA if they have the particular ones I'm looking for but I was wondering if anyone here has bought a grail/rare/limited edition scarf off-season in the Sydney store?

Yes, there can be some leftover scarves from last season. Unsold, less popular ones, or ones ordered by customers who didn't come to pick it up.

But if you are looking for scarves from more than 1 season ago, that's less likely...

Hi guys, I visited the sydney store for the first time a couple weeks ago and was assigned to a trainee to add a Picotin to my wish list (they were very kind to humour me lol) and I was wondering how I can best contact the SA I spoke to to either add to my wish list or ask about other items?
I’m not based in Sydney so can’t walk in and I didn’t get her contact details :(

thanks for helping this noob

you can call the store, and ask for the SA's contact if you remember his/her name, or if you don't remember, give them your acct detail they would be able to tell you who served you last time... go from there....

hi, I have a pretty beat up birkin 35 from the early 2000s and I was hoping to take it into Hermes to get it restored and repaired. does anyone know a rough price and time estimate? is it hundreds or thousands? and weeks or months?
thank you !

I dropped my Birkin 30 off earlier this month (decent condition, just getting it cleaned) and they quoted $600 for a basic clean and a minimum of 6 months before it'd be back. The SA kept emphasising it'd probably take longer...

Hi, I’m looking to start a relationship with 1 SA and I’m a bit confused on how to do so.
when I buy something from them do I ask to exchange emails or phone numbers to stay working together and then contact them when ever I’m going to go into the store.
just a bit confused. Please share your experience!
thanks!

“Thank you so much for your help today! Could I get your business card so that I can arrange to shop with you again next time?”

Wanted to share my experience as a walk in at the Sydney store today. Came in and asked a male SA to show me the silkin wallet and a bolide. He was very curt and inattentive the whole time - put the wallets on the counter and told me there were no bags, and also started looking at his phone. He didn't even bother introducing the product to me and when I asked him questions about the product, answered with less than 5 words.

As Hermes is a luxury brand I find it surprising that service can be so poor. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you have to spend $$$ at a store to be just be treated cordially?

Sorry to hear about your experience! When I first started i didn’t know about building relationships etc so just had random SA, though they weren’t rude, just abrupt so I didn’t look around much.

Thank you for sharing! How did you move past that to build a relationship? I would like to buy things from the store, but hard to bring myself to spend that money when the service is so dismissive. Dropping $$$ to buy things so I can get some base level of service doesn't sit right with me either.

That's terrible to hear; if you do decide to come back, it might be helpful to go with a different SA. I went through a couple over the course of a year just to find someone who I clicked with. And yes, I agree with not buying anything just so one can be treated right.
