He is no longer working there. I had him before. They changed some of the staff. But I am happy as they are really good to me.
They have tightened their policies but maybe you have a prior history with them. Their SM is someone else, but I am glad you had a positive experience.
I have never heard of random people walking in, maybe it was before I lived in Geneva. We probably have bags they would offer.
I am not allowed to buy bags for 6 months, nor is my mom. So we are stuck waiting.

They have changed things. Luckily, my SA follows me throughout the departments which makes it easier for me. The SM is nice. I do feel like cheating if I go to France. And I am still pondering on my color choices. We are allowed only two bags per year. I think it's H policy everywhere. I saw the lines in Paris and heard crazy stories, I dare not venture there.
Are you planning a trip to Paris H?
Since they have your name in the swiss database, I would think the swiss store will be a more pleasant experience for you.

Unfortunately I’m not going to Paris, but I agree the boutique was like my DH said, crowded as a supermarket during the weekend, LOL! I’m in the database in France too – as I bought my Blue Electric Birkin there, again as walk in customer, though we passed every day and bought several things before being offered a bag. BTW in Hermes at Rue de Sèvres I was offered a Kelly Lakis but didn’t like the color.
Next week I’ll be on business in Berlin, I have no high hopes for there, and I’m not sure what I want. Maybe a Bolide, but need some color like Eutope, but do not like the white stitching.
Then we’ll go on vacation in LA, I used to have a SA and bought there my shoulder Kelly and a Jypsiere, we‘ll see, I’ll report
My DH hates the Paris store now. We used to go there before it went crazy and it was much easier to buy a bag. But now, I am sticking with Geneva. I am also not a fan of the white stitching.
Maybe you will be lucky in Berlin. I have heard positive feedback but then my friend moved there. If you know the LA SA then you have good chances.

I just received a lovely call from a SA in one of the Switzerland stores where I had inquired about a Kelly last Spring. They have a black K35(I didn't catch the leather.)
At their encouraging I went to Paris(FSH) and bought one over the summer holidays. I do feel very happy they called with the offer. I feel much warmer toward the home boutiques now.

I forgot to report! In Berlin I bought a raisin 31 Bolide in Togo, in LA I bought a white Birkin 30 GHW, I'm very happy with both. I'll post picts.

My call was actually from Lausanne. And I assume it will go happily to the next 'established' customer who expressed interest. I'm sure I will continue to buy Hermès, but I'm not really a bag collector.
