Hi starshar, no. I only have one h bracelet that I bought in Paris, so not even there and I was not wearing it at the moment. I just came into the H and ask about my dream bag! SA was a little rude with me, so i ask to another SA that told me to come back in january. I know that there is a waitlist but I didn't know that you have to be invited in.
well, it might seem upsetting for you now but think about the bigger picture - your husband is amazing. And a couple of years from now you might not even care about bags at all! let's wish that not getting our dream bag would be the biggest upset in our lives. I am very fortunate to have house and cars covered, these are definitely a priority. Right now it is just making sure I do not spend my Birkin savings on some other fashion related items
I am waiting for the bag since January. The guy in charge is really, really upsetting. He yells sometimes to customers.And so I have left it up to DH to deal with him. It is a bit upsetting that when we went to the store and picked out the leathers our SA said we will wait maximum 6 months since we are one of the first to come, it was very early January, we are ahead of the list and the bag I choose was not hard to come by. But the guy in charge of this specific section pretty much was so rude, he said nothing is sure, I may not even have the bag and pretty much went on to make some snap comments about me in the language they speak here. I have to say I am not a confrontational person but I do have dignity. Needless to say I returned his favour and told him he cannot treat people like this especially if he makes comments about my heritage. He wants to meet my DH and was so making a fit that my husband did not have time for him. And yes, we have bought things from Hermes before. Mostly my DH. Even his clients always ask him where is the Hermes store and he is not in the fashion business.
Next week my DH will meet this guy in charge of the bags. It will be an interesting meeting.
Long post but I am so disappointed that after all the hard work my SA put into they have such a nasty guy in charge of the Birkin bags.
Hi All I have been dreaming about a birkin for a a while now (almost 4 years) ...doing extensive research into how to get hold of one - and failing miserbaly. I live in london so i go into the stores frequently to ask - and obiviously the response has been 'no we dont have any'. I heard you have to buy alot of items before they offer you one...did that...#fail! I finally purchased one on the reseller website 'Vestaire Collective'. I havent received it yet...only purchased it two days ago. I do worry it may not be authentic. Reviews for the site has been mixed - though of course then ensure the item goes though their experts first. It was the one i was after...35 Black Togo....really hope it works out! Wish me luck.
Fingers crossed for you! But once you receive it, you can always get it professionally authenticated. For the amount of money involved, I think it's worth spending a small fee for a peace of mind.
I just checked with an Hermes SA at Takashimaya if there is a waiting list for the Birkins and he said, yes. And he also mentioned that orders are closed. They are not taking any more orders until further notice. I am not gonna spend a lifetime saving a birkin. I will just give myself 2 years MAX. Pre-owned ones will do. At this point in time, I am finding ways to invest in something that makes money grow in a short time. Wanted to purchase a gold jewellery and found out to my surprise that GOLD rate went up!!! Bummer... Now I gotta find out when it comes down again...

Since you live in london, why don't you take the Eurostar to Paris flagship store on rue faubourg saint honore? You can get birkin without buying anything else. Loads of tourists visit that store with 1 common goal
If the SA tells you "no shipment today etc" then try a different SA. You might need to visit the store more than once, persistence will pay off.

Hi all! I'm new to Hermes, I don't own anything Hermes.. But for the past month I've been obsessing over a Birkin. I've been lurking on Hermes forums about the "it" bag and I've been spending a lot of time watching birkin reviews on YouTube.
I'm a stay-at-home wife with no source of income My husband has a really nice job and I know he can very much afford to buy me a Birkin but I just can't get myself to ask. I'm new to this luxury bag thing, actually. I'm just starting my LV collection and with just that, my husband can't understand the price I'm willing to spend for them although he lets me buy LVs for special occasions. He's not into brands, as long as things do what they're supposed to do.. So LV and Hermes are hard to justify.
We're married less than a year and trying for a baby. I told him if we can't have a baby, instead of going for a test tube baby, I want to spend the money on a birkin instead! He almost fell off his seat laughing in disbelief! Lol. I'm also thinking of asking for it as a push gift if we ever get pregnant. You see, I'm really trying to look for a reason to get a Birkin

I called an SA a couple weeks before my Vegas trip. I was "originally" looking for a toolbox, but when I saw it in Costa Mesa I ended up falling out of love.
I got a call from the SA asking me when I was gonna be in town. I told her that I'll be there thanksgiving weekend. I asked if she had any B/K's in 40 or 50, or even HACs. She responded by telling me that she cannot tell me that information over the phone. So I asked "If I stopped by tomorrow, would I be happy?" She said yes.
With 2 hours of sleep, I rushed to the Encore H with a friend/enabler to hopefully score my first B/K/HAC. When I got there I saw a big orange box being sold to another male customer. I was in full on espionage mode so I took a peek at the box label. It was an HAC!!!
The SA I spoke with pretended to "look" at the back room and came back to say that they did not have any deliveries that day. I asked nicely if I could look at the big box, and they declined
Still bummed about it. What was annoying was she attempted to sell me more stuff and "perhaps" shell be able to show me whats in the back. I was really turned off.
I told her that I might be new to buying Hermes, but I spent 4500$ in a month. Isnt that enough?

I've been obsessed with hermes since I was about 10. I grew up riding horses, so Hermes was like, the best of the best in terms of leather goods.
After years of saving, I still didn't have enough for a Hermes saddle, so at 18 I bought a Childeric instead (fabulous french saddle maker, still cost me +$5k!) which I love dearly and will have for the rest of my life. But I've always craved a piece from hermes.
I have a lot of other expensive addictions, horses, my dog, travel and car modifications eat up most of my very modest paycheques, and I feel like I'll never own an Hermes piece. It's easy to get discouraged when even the smallest piece of Hermes takes several months of saving. I don't want to buy something just for the sake of the orange box either.
I've got my eye on a scarf I hope to get soon, but I also don't live near a boutique either so the one I want will probably be gone by the time I'm ready to purchase after christmas.
My dream Hermes piece is a Black Croc Kelly 32 with GHW. I'll probably never get there, but my back up would be a Black Box Kelly 32 with GHW. Hopefully I'll get that one day!

Wow....you spent $4500 in a month but I hope not every month buying H to get a B or K. Last time in H bellagio they have HAC 50 Flag but it was too big for me so I did not buy it and I not buy anything at all. I hope you will find you dream bag soon.
