But isn't the Madame a squared-off take on H's Art Deco Faco (indeed with a point) and 1938 clutch (rounded closure)?[/QUOTE]
Maybe? You would know for for sure more than I. Madame was 1977 for Delvaux. And sure, I guess everything is always revisionistic isn't it? At least it seems that way. Esp when these 2 houses have been around forever and swap artisans.

Yet another disappointing season for me..... I think H should stick to their original bag styles, or bring back some discontinued ones: I haven't like one single new bag style in ages!! Sorry for the rant, I'm just old and grumpy:yes:
Which styles do you think they should bring back? I'm just curious. You have quite an impressive collection, especially because a lot of them are in heritage leathers <3

Hi Allan, yes we have similar tastes as far as leathers are concerned! I'm very excited about Peau Porc coming back, I love it to bits!

My first and absolute favourite "oldie" is the HAC 32, I've never understood why they stopped making it. I much prefer it to the Birkin, also because it's the original style. Also several smaller bags, like the Sandrine, and other similar ones of which I don't remember the names.

I'm more interested in vintage now, especially since Box, Barenia , Vache Naturelle ecc... are almost impossible to find new.
