I am too ill this morning for a full set of modelling pics, but I can give you a few quick first photos of my A L’Ombre des Pivoines that has literally just arrived. Colourway 14, bleu glacier, rose. I am thrilled with it as it is so beautiful and nothing like anything else in my small collection and will look great with greys. Oh, and the colours of the scarf are much richer and deeper than those in the website image (as usual).

Can anyone tell me if there will be a design story for this scarf? It is not on the website and I like to have these when I write my scarf profile posts for my blog.

So lovely [emoji847]

My sieste cw 07 has arrived! I love the silk plume. It’s my first one. Normally I go for the winter 140cm silks, but it’s 64 degrees here in dec and this weight is perfect. I’m also loving the red ahead of Christmas! [emoji173]️[emoji173]️

Just got home and Animapolis CW1 has arrived! It is such a gorgeous, lively and fun design! Being nighttime here I did not take modeling pics but, although I have quite a busy day tomorrow, I will try to... although there is really little need to because it has already been quite beautifully and successfully modeled. I am mesmerized by all of the vignettes, characters, scenes within scenes and stories told in this illustration. I smiled when I first opened the box and that Greek vessel with the prancing Minotaur on its sail greeted me, along with the griffins and parade of raccoons, and the swirling waves of the sea and the apartment dwellers peeping out of their windows (one even pulled out his cell phone to take a pic of the animated scene). Oh, and the little black dog, of course! The detail is amazing and the colors are breathtaking. I am so happy I decided to go for this one!ABD57B51-4ED2-42CA-8133-F2A7EA66C235.jpeg 5CA649B0-9F77-41FC-A839-14B42486516C.jpeg

My small contribution to this thread. Tree of sing twilly. I bought it to use with my K wallet. It has so lovely colours. It is winter here so difficult with the lighting.

What a delightful design and gorgeous CW! And perfect with the K wallet... Congrats!

I don’t think that this has been shared yet....Jungle Love Tattoo CSGM in bleu noir/rose VIF looks like CW is Z8?????
I can’t do a modeling shot now, but soon! I LOVE the contrast hem....so dreamy!!
Stunning! I can imagine it worn with black... Congrats!

That, along with Sieste au Paradis, is the only other larger scarf/shawl that I covet-- in exactly that colorway. Do you think it could be worn with black clothing? Is the blue noir dark enough? Thanks in advance. And, by the way, you have excellent taste!

I love the details! Thank you for sharing!
I’m already planning on purchasing 2 colorways - cw1 to frame and cw 5 to wear! But I also like cw 13....I love quirky designs!

Have you actually framed any of your scarves yet? I bought Into The Canadian Wild with the intention of framing it but haven't gotten around to it yet (I've been enjoying wearing it in the interim! ). If you have I would love to know if you were able to find a frame vs custom frame or if there is a trick to framing it well. I want to be careful since I know sometimes sports jerseys get tacked into place and I definitely do not want that done!

If anyone else had guidance on this I'd love to hear!

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh. My Sieste arrives tomorrow. I am almost hyperventilating here. Should I be naughty and take a peek or be nice and hand it straight over to DH to hide until Christmas Day? Oh the anguish! [emoji23][emoji23]
Geez, there's a whole week between now and Xmas. If you take a peek you can be thinking about the outfits you'll put together or the pieces you need to highlight the scarf. I mean Sieste is sooo beautiful.

There have been a couple threads on this. I would personally suggest installing it on a device that uses magnets — H stores and the website sell it. Or you can devise your own for a lot less! If you do want to frame it, a good framer will know exactly what to do.

I do think that some of these season’s scarves (including Animapolis) would look great on a wall! I had a couple up at various times, but nowadays, we have too much ‘actual’ art.
