Just got home and Animapolis CW1 has arrived! It is such a gorgeous, lively and fun design! Being nighttime here I did not take modeling pics but, although I have quite a busy day tomorrow, I will try to... although there is really little need to because it has already been quite beautifully and successfully modeled. I am mesmerized by all of the vignettes, characters, scenes within scenes and stories told in this illustration. I smiled when I first opened the box and that Greek vessel with the prancing Minotaur on its sail greeted me, along with the griffins and parade of raccoons, and the swirling waves of the sea and the apartment dwellers peeping out of their windows (one even pulled out his cell phone to take a pic of the animated scene). This is such a ‘you’ scarf with it’s black hem and saturated colors! Would love to see it worn :)

I wonder if it will be ever released as a full-sized scarf. Baobab Cat was available as a bangle before the scarves hit the stores, too. I can’t think of any other examples where there is a twilly in a scarf-like design, but no scarf... do correct me if I am wrong.

No, there’s still only 3 colors mentioned; the first “word” is an abbreviation of the color group.
I’ve posted a question re this season’s groups (a few pages back) and what the abbreviations mean, but have yet to receive a response :sad:

Wonderful! I can't wait to see it on you fifi, it will look amazing! In the meantime, my Sieste is stuck in the north of England, having visited Memphis, Tennessee after leaving Paris (??!!) with no delivery date available. I leave for France on Saturday so they better hurry up. Whilst awaiting its arrival I will revel in the glory of all the other beauties you guys are getting!!!

How funny, I ordered a scarf for my mum and it too is stuck in Newcastle with no date for delivery, having earlier said it would be delivered yesterday, hope there is not an issue :confused1:

How peculiar! Normally FedEx are super, delivering the next working day, so I am a little concerned. If I have had no update by the end of the day I will call H customer services. It is odd that there has been no update for 22 hours! Let's just hope it is the Christmas rush.....[emoji6]

Exactly. I do not know of any twilly designs that were not also a scarf. Here’s hoping!

I am feeling slightly better today, although not enough to put any makeup on - please excuse the rather wan face! Anyway, I staggered out of bed and took some modelling pix with some grey clothes. The silk is very crisp and stiff, so I didn’t try any really draped ties like the waterfall knot. But here are nine pics in a collage:
