My sieste cw 07 has arrived! I love the silk plume. It’s my first one. Normally I go for the winter 140cm silks, but it’s 64 degrees here in dec and this weight is perfect. I’m also loving the red ahead of Christmas! [emoji173]️[emoji173]️

I've opted for the lavender/bougainvillea one. It reminds me of a little lake I visited earlier this year with my family, called the Fairy Lochan, where the water is emerald green from the fairies washing their clothes in it (apparently!).View attachment 4282203View attachment 4282219

I love this! The caramel and chocolate tones work so well in contrast to the vibrant reds and blues. Utterly delicious.

I hear you! I've been disappointed in the condition of some recent pre-loved purchases. The benefits of that experience are 1) I've learned what's most important to me - "pristine" over other factors, and 2) might be time to focus on new season offerings for a while. Not a bad outcome.

Interesting to learn about other people’s reasoning behind scarf buying! For me it is something more intangible, it has to “speak” to me, often motive, then colours, and historical or personal connection with the motive. Birds, whenever possible, are important. Very lucky with all my preloved ones, esp Japanese sellers tend to downgrade their descriptions, so always pleasantly surprised. Great to know we all have our favourites

I am too ill this morning for a full set of modelling pics, but I can give you a few quick first photos of my A L’Ombre des Pivoines that has literally just arrived. Colourway 14, bleu glacier, rose. I am thrilled with it as it is so beautiful and nothing like anything else in my small collection and will look great with greys. Oh, and the colours of the scarf are much richer and deeper than those in the website image (as usual).
