I discovered H scarves in the 80s also! I did a lot of business travel, and would use my trips as an excuse to visit the H boutiques in the major cities. Fortunately, my clients were all clueless about what I was wearing.I got the eye rolls back in the 80s when I glommed on to HS due to a NM boutique (sadly now gone) was near me. Only one person really knew anything about them but I'm sure his eyerolls were contagious. ("Did you see what she's wearing?!!!).
This was years ago. Meanwhile big houses, boats, travel and the occasional horse have preoccupied my colleagues. A scarf is trivial in those circumstances! Not important!
Thank you!!Thank you! This is colorway 8
Thank you for this incredible boost of confidence!I'm sure you'll rock your scarf!
Many thanks to you all for the "likes" and lovely messages... makes me want to actually wear my scarves vs admiring them in their boxes lol

The design is quite interesting since you could emphasize on the bright corner or the more muted one.
Ha “Godzilla”! Took a bunch of all the monsters
Yay!!! Monsters galore! What a fun design! Awesome knots to display the beasts! Some more...
I think not medieval, but actually the Cretan Minotaur prancing on the sail of that Greek vessel. And, so fitting, as the fantastical cityscape could be described as a sort of labyrinth. The little medieval imp on your second to last pic is splendid.
Thank you eagle! [emoji4] I will find out soon enough! Perhaps it is tricky to translate the detail of a 90 to the "large screen" or perhaps the 140s just have a different vibe. Regardless, I can't wait!! (Well, I have to but you know what I mean!!!! [emoji38])There may have been a bit of a lack of detail somewhat evident to me when I was scrolling thru tpf photos. But, oh, my, the Siestes were jaw-dropping! Siestes have a powerful beauty about them!
This is L'esprit de la forêt by Alice Shirley. What is the top scarf you posted, @QueenieQ ? I gather it's all one scarf, very intriguing.
Thanks for showing it, I like the variations it offers , so versatile!
I just wondered if the wrong side of the silk has the same colour strength as the right side, sometimes the wrong side can be a lot paler.

I am too ill this morning for a full set of modelling pics, but I can give you a few quick first photos of my A L’Ombre des Pivoines that has literally just arrived. Colourway 14, bleu glacier, rose. I am thrilled with it as it is so beautiful and nothing like anything else in my small collection and will look great with greys. Oh, and the colours of the scarf are much richer and deeper than those in the website image (as usual).

Can anyone tell me if there will be a design story for this scarf? It is not on the website and I like to have these when I write my scarf profile posts for my blog.
Glorious HH! Mine will be here within the next couple of hours. You have made a beautiful choice.
