I was able to drape a few cws of the A l’Ombre des Pivoines and hurriedly took a few shots so you can better see what it would look like on. I wasn’t able to tie them properly because they were all connected together at the top like swatches of fabrics. So I did my best to drape. I also only got photos of the cws I thought were the most gorgeous. I was worried the event folks would tell me that I wasn’t allowed to do this so I took them as quickly as possible... I’ll see if I can get more shots of other cws! This scarf is absolutely dreamy!!

Oh wow Joanndyne! Thanks for risking the heat for the team here! These are way dreamier than I was hoping...I was hoping they wouldn’t call my name...

@Joannadyne you are THE BEST!!!!! [emoji8][emoji8] Love the pics!!!

You’re both very welcome! I had a few minutes to check out Carre Club and found no one at this station - the artists must’ve been taking a break. The bundle of raw scarves were just sitting there, begging to be admired. So it was a drape of opportunity!

I had to leave to pick up the kidlet from school, but I’ll head back tomorrow and see what SS19 intel I can gather. I’d like to know if Alice Shirley has a scarf this season. And who is responsible for Animapolis? I am both fascinated and repelled by it. That monkey at the bottom left does remind me of Annie Faivre but the rest of it isn’t typical of her style, no?

I’ll have to track back and look for the monkey. Definitely not her style I don’t think. There is a little running horse headed guy bottom right on it, which is a bit more in the Ugo Gattoni realm but the vegetation doesn’t seem right for him, or the way the figures are drawn plus no quaint oddities like noses and hands coming out of walls...

You would think that telling someone to look for a horse headed guy in the bottom right would make finding it easy but this scarf is so busy, I can’t find him! It’s worse than Where’s Waldo! I think you’re right, though, that it can’t be Faivre. I’m not convinced it’s Ugo yet since I can’t find the horse head guy. Maybe the new guy - Édouard Baribeaud? The flora looks like his style...

Heehee. He’s just under the armadillo and one of the lemurs in the bottom right. In black and white. I think he is the sail of a Viking (??) ship. I can already make out the copyright, you think I’d be able to locate the artist sig. The colorations, vegetation and some of the figures remind me a little of Pierre Marie

Thank you so much, dear Joanna. That's the only one I'm waiting for in diff. cw.

Is it this guy? It does make me think a lot of Gattoni's work. Maybe something seen on his IG videos.
