Thinking of spa’ing a preloved wallet. I have seen other have reduced their bag and am hoping they can dye my silk in wallet and clean the coin section. Any idea of how much this will cost? Thank you!

I'm in Australia recently sent my vintage box kelly to spa. it was in excellent condition I'd say, besides getting a little dry over the years but no scuff or marks. I waited 7 weeks for a quote and they anticipate 6 months for the works to be completed.

-cleaning+ make up+ refinish = $435AUD
- replacement side strap = $590AUD (not sure if they're replacing one or both??)

Oh that’s very reasonable. I am thinking to send mine to FSH to replace the handle. Let’s see how much it will cost.

How much did it end up being and would you happen to have before and after photos? I’m especially interested in the scuffed corners and the hole. May I ask how much repairing that scuffed corner cost??

Does anyone know how much it costs at the H spa to replace a broken turnlock (palladium)? I've been told the turnlock which broke off cannot be re-installed and the whole plate and lock must be replaced. Many thanks.

I was quoted 175 euro to replace a broken gold turnlock on a vintage Kelly.
Then I agreed to replace the hardware on the sangles and on the flap too, 160 euro.

Today I took in 3 handbags for refresh and was quoted 6 months. My SA said a basic refresh with no repairs was $475. I had her change the wording to get the artisan’s opinion on what should be done and email me with a price before proceeding.

She thought 2 Ks were perfect and wouldn’t send them but one is 5+ yrs old and the handle is loose so I’d like to see if they can tighten it. The other K is Box from the 90s and not yet refreshed, so I think she’s due. And the last bag is Box from the late 70s/early 80s. I had her refreshed about 6 years ago but she looks parched and ready for another refresh. I’ll post again once they write me with the actual pricing.
