On average, how much are you ladies spending on each appointment?

I am not sure if I should continue purchasing while waiting for QB.

Depends sometimes zero because nothing to get.. max 10-20k. average is a few thousand.
I will normally max out my 2 QB so I will continue spending.. really depends on your relationship with SA and HERMÈS.
 
Thank you for your insights! My SA actually showed me one colour when I went to make a purchase but I wasn't drawn to the colour so SA put me down for a specific colour and hardware. From experience, this means that the item is on its way but the uncertainty is when it would arrive. So I was wondering when it might arrive. I wasn't previously a big fan of the design until I saw it in stores and the many ways it can be worn with a twilly! So I'm really excited :loveeyes:

The wait is what makes the buying process more satisfying i think... maybe others can comment. How I deal with it is not to think about it. There’s many things I want like barenia b/k, ombre lizard b/k/c, so black shadow b.. alot of the SAs claim i am VIP but i always fill like I’m like the lowest rank VIP. Lol how come i don’t get all the rare and exotic items!!! :whut:

Hmmmm…. You really don’t have to feel this way. Once you are familiar with how your SA works, then you will realize.

My SA can’t even bring herself to tell me there is no stock for the item I want, so she usually doesn’t reply. I came to knew about it when I asked her in the store. She usually look down and admit softly that there is no stock.

There was one appointment this year when I go to make a deposit for something. There is really nothing for me to buy. She only breathe a sigh of relief after showing me random bits when I picked up a fashion jewellery piece which I usually don’t even look at. I happened to like it, just usually don’t buy such pieces. She said there were only 4 pieces of that that arrived in the store.

This is how bad it is.

is she not even able to waitlist you or add these items to your wishlist? or do you only want to buy in-stocks?
 
Hi ladies, do you have any trouble trying to make appointments with your SA? Like not getting a reply from them and have to send another message as a “reminder” for a reply? Feels bad to have to constantly do this for a reply.

Msg to my SA sometimes take days to get response on appt, If there is something I really need and MUST to buy, nearer to the date i want I will just send another msg to check again.

Many times SA reply same day after store closing hours (liat). SA mentioned before on average 200+ unread msgs to attend to...... so generally I don't send reminder and kind of telling myself it is ok if no reply, my spending is delayed further hahaha.

Nowadays customer can call in to CS to make appt too and if there is any empty slot, CS will just book appt. So their appointment now are more packed than usual.

Totally Agree! The excitement when something you have been waiting for finally arrive and it is not item readily available anytime. A lot of times certain item design/color/leather we see on social media posting only so when it materialize in front of own eyes, brain freeze the moment seeing it :amazed:

Nowadays with internet and technology, everything is instant, want to buy something just click, payment just wave/scan, delivery to doorstep.

But with H there is nothing instant, I learn to be more patience, do more research, so when this item appear or when requesting certain item, SA will say certain specs arriving do you want? They want immediate answer on the spot :shocked: if i know the item well I can be sure to response yes or no. Note: Requesting something will affect profile too if we don't buy when it arrive. Next request will be marked as Interest only (what I was told by SA)

I have read the past 100+ pages, thanks for all the sharing of experiences and how difficult it is to buy anything at the moment.

I have been thinking of slowly building a profile towards being able to be offered a B35 in future as I like some of Hermes’ homeware and jewellery designs, and recently fell in love with the reversible belt straps and buckles I saw online. I would really love to see the texture and different colours in person, as well as try on for which length fits best (trying to lose a bit more of my pregnancy weight), but from this thread it seems like there are no stocks available in stores at all. Can anyone share if the lack of stock is the case for belts across the 3 stores too?

If so I will probably order online and hope the size fits well though I know they will not count towards building a profile, as I really like the colours and belt buckle designs, and am not sure if they will still be available if I wait too long. I really like some of the fine jewellery designs too, but if there is no possibility of even viewing in person, I think I will just have to accept that it’s not meant to be and move on.
 
There was 1 lady trying belt when I visited Liat stores on Good Friday, not sure if they have stocks for all length/size but I saw couple of belts hanging there near rtw area.

There are always belts available at Taka whenever I visit, the constraint might be the color and size you are after. But if you just want to see and try on first I think is better for you to visit the store since online purchases doesnt count. Also, not everything is on display so maybe you can save a photo of the pc you want and show it to the SA when you visit. Don’t be discouraged too soon too, the first visit and connecting to an SA is always the hardest but you’ll get used to it as we all did. Since you are planning to build your profile for the long term, visiting the boutique is still the best.
 
Sometimes when we ask for an item and the SA looks at the phone, why is it sometimes they will proceed to wait list and sometimes they don’t? I’m pretty confused by this.
It could be because the expected number of pieces due to arrive have all been choped by other SAs for their customers. The system does not allow any more customers to be wait listed when that happens.

I believe belts are not so much of a challenge and may be available at the boutique. Since you have an interest to build your profile I suggest visiting the boutique. This will provide you an opportunity to try on various colors to understand which variation you adore as well as get the best size. :smile:
