I think Chanel and LV r trying to combat resellers via the Hermes way to sell to customers who “appreciate the brand as a whole”

But Hermes is in a better position. A whole ecosystem on its own. Using time and pre spend in no resale value merchandise to combat resellers. Those resellers who don’t have the cash flow and cannot afford to wait would be out of the game.

With borders opening up, has anyone visited H stores at airports and overseas? How is the stock level?

This is not very updated but just to share, I was at Changi airport H store last month (early March), T3 store SA shared the stock level is super super low that they literally had nothing to sell and management decided to revert the operating hours back to closing at 6pm instead of 8pm. Popped by T1 store as well and inventories seem better as we saw another customer is making payment for something and spotted a alligator KTG in Noir GHW:loveeyes: not sure if it's something hard to chance by but I didn't go for it because KTG is a bit too small and preferred a CTG.
But soon after with the govt announcement on the much relaxed covid measures in about 1 week later, not sure if they are reverting back the operating hours and will supply more inventories for the Airport stores.

Tell me about it! I want to make deposit for jewellery and was told Paris said they don’t accept deposit for certain designs! Head to reseller IG or carousell and you see the same jewellery sold at discount.

Haven’t bought a mini evelyne in the last 7 years but first 3 years I got quite a few mini Evelyns. Usually with all hermes items, the allocation isn’t high hence it’s always an issue to spread it around existing clients. Buying from HERMÈS today is different from pre-covid, demand way greater than supply.
Thank you for your insights! My SA actually showed me one colour when I went to make a purchase but I wasn't drawn to the colour so SA put me down for a specific colour and hardware. From experience, this means that the item is on its way but the uncertainty is when it would arrive. So I was wondering when it might arrive. I wasn't previously a big fan of the design until I saw it in stores and the many ways it can be worn with a twilly! So I'm really excited

Hi ladies, do you have any trouble trying to make appointments with your SA? Like not getting a reply from them and have to send another message as a “reminder” for a reply? Feels bad to have to constantly do this for a reply.
Don’t have coz my SA sort of wants me to check in every month.

But if you have to send a reminder, don’t take it personal. Take it that there is nothing that might interest you.
