What if you buy small items that are like 500 bucks, will your SA find it hard to track? I previously ordered some homeware that will take a year to arrive. I have made deposit for it and so my spend now would actually be 22k just that the goods have not arrived and will not count towards my spend until they have arrived. I have spent so much on my first QB already.
Putting deposits for items that have not arrived or collected is not counted. So as long as not collected it is also not counted towards your 1st QB.
 
So far I have always bought something from her when I walk into the store. I have never walked away empty handed.
U already bought a lot. If you continue, your expectations are going to build up. If she carry on let you buy and still no QB in sight for you, are you gonna blow up….

If in doubt, just ask her.
 
Hi all, I have a huge dilemma and hope that some kind soul here can help me with it.

I have been shopping in hermes Singapore since last year, and have spent the quota amount and apparently my SA has mentioned that my wishlist is in the system. However, I really do not have chemistry with this SA. Is it advisable to switch to another SA in the same store in Singapore, to start on my journey for the second bag. I'm still queueing for the first bag. I haven't received any quota bags to date. Hoping for a reply. Would really appreciate your thoughts on this. Thank you.
I would continue to wait for my QB with this SA. in the meantime, just continue to engage her for appts. If she doesn't give you one, good right, you save some money since you always buy something to show support :).

Not that it matters, but if I were in your shoes, I would not change SA within the same store, too sensitive. I will start a new profile with another store in parallel :)

I am not sure whether the situation would be better in other stores. Sounds to me like nothing much to buy across the stores unless go to the stores and just buy whatever is there. SA style similar across.

By the way, H 2021 financial results are out. Top revenue growth contributors are China, Australia and Singapore. And Singapore has only 3 stores!

I like the current MBS store. But you have a point. If I move, do you suggest Taka or Liat? I know that Taka gives Taka vouchers. For Liat, I know they have private sales from time to time. What would you recommend?
 
Exactly! I tried to ask her if she is free on these dates at a certain timing for example and she will tell me that she is on leave on one day, coming to work after that timing on another day etc AND doesn't give me any alternative. I bought her food goodies on festive seasons too. To my acquaintances, they will usually say I am a nice person and I make friends easily. I am not picky and I think I'm really kind. I really don't think the problem is me. Sorry to rant.

What do I do with her? Do you think she is pushing me away? How to buy when I can't get into the store?
Do you mind if I ask which store in Singapore is this SA from?

Would suggest that you should wait for your QB to arrive first before deciding if to change SA/store, might not be so nice to switch SA within the same store. And to which store you should go to, again depends on which store you'll meet a SA you have chemistry with.
I'm just thinking that since your current SA already put your wish list into the system after you hit the quota, she isn't so bad after all right? I've heard that some SAs just keep on make you spending without even mention anything about wish list for QBs and some SAs demand spending way above 1:1, 1.5. And yea.. those deposit you've placed won't count until you collect the items so that will be for the next QB and not the one you are waiting now, if you switch store, then the deposit items will not be counted at the other store.
Yes, I've heard of the SAs need to cater some time for walk-ins, so maybe the reason why she cannot take your appt if her schedule is already full for the day. I'll usually make my appt 1-2 weeks in advance as I can only make it over weekends, even so with this advance, my SA is already quite packed with appts sometimes. So yea.. they are very busy and patience is really the key.

So far, I haven't bought anything that I liked from the store. There is a pair of shoes that I don't mind, but in a totally different colour. Everything else, I just purchase for the quota. Because like I have mentioned earlier, I did ask her for a handful of things that I actually like, but she never looked out for me. It seems like it is useless to tell her anything as she doesn't materialize anything.

Could you advise on how to actually buy stuff that I like? Do I go in every few weeks to have a look? I never leave empty handed which is why I always end up buying things that I don't really like. I will always thank her for her service and remark at how lovely my purchases are. But I don't feel excited about them as what I want are never in stock.

Sometimes I wonder if she just prefers other customers and so when they request for the same stuff, she just gives everything to them.

If it was me, after i had spend the quota amount, I will not switch SA without getting my quota bag first.

Will only switch after i had gotten the quota bag.

And will not spend anything much (or non at all) while waiting for the bag to arrive.

Thats my 2 cents.

I am no Hermes expert but allow me to share my thoughts.

Based on the information you have shared I feel the SA might have a good pool of priority customers and you are probably not on that list. This is certainly no fault of yours but I will not spend anymore and continue to wait for my quota bag. Once you receive the QB it will be a better option to open a new profile in another store but do take your time to find a SA you can click with. :smile:
